I say it mockingly, as he pretends to be tight in here when he's the last to know, behind the general public. He also lurks and patrols your thread with no ambition of friendship.

Well I guess. Moderate fan at least. I find it pretty interesting. And I read a bit. There is an interesting book I read the other month called Character Disturbance. Author George K Simon. It's got some interesting commentary on behaviours like passive aggression, covert aggression, narcissism, etc. The behaviours that are 'anti-neurotic'. And looking at the world today it is pretty interesting to read what he has to say on character development.

Not so much on this thread per se. I just find it interesting to watch how some of the more (what I would call) aggressive posters interact.

I would say so. Too much neurotic obviously not good. Mildly neurotic (ie not purely self absorbed but can see others needs and points ov view and take them into consideration) but also being able to be assertive and set boundaries probably makes for a happier and more fulfilling existence than living at the character disturbed end of the scale.

Aggression or Passive Aggression require impetus. You set up a stall and wait for punters. It's indirect, and you say dismissive OKs a lot, like a PA, but you aren't classic PA.
