I looove and use trig extensively, it's the labelling of triangle types that is completely useless and never used in engineering. Vectors are awesome. Matrices, awesome. Trig, awesome. Knowing a triangle is scalene, not so much.

Ahhh fair enough :) - Sorry I misunderstood!

Learning triangle and angle labels is even less useful than analytical calculus in real life, even in scientific and mathematics heavy professions. Seriously, the topic never comes up.
Not true. Depends on your profession. I'm an engineer. It comes up. .

Edit. Oh you dont mean trig in general. Ok. And ANYWAY i wasnt using the word in a trigonometrical sense. To start with. So there.

How did 'triangle and angle labels' ever become trig in general? I realise I have a target on my back, but settle :p
