Witty Banter

I did like your charade that 'benevolent' came from a random unknown source, and not your own personal fountain of knowledge, Me!
Lolling like a loller!!Pisshornin' OT's waiting for the sun and my bestie to come to lay by the pool and tan the day away

Pisshornin to you too!
Since we have now officially launched into "business hours" I am headed to the plaza to give my visa a nudge.
I am mat shopping. Keep your phone close!!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I sure that knowledge caused movement in your undergarment.I did like your charade that 'benevolent' came from a random unknown source, and not your own personal fountain of knowledge, Me!

Turn it up!
So - spend $160 at Woolies got $20 last week - spent $160 at Woolies this week and bought a few Cheeses and got another $30 - that is a huge discount - I think? I was happy with thatBought a box of chocolates
Anyway ... not meaning to sound like a victim, and all - BUT I have had looters, you know the type of surge that lap up stuff that is left behind, even though it isn't .... the type that come though after a disaster and look for what they can take - well, that is how I felt today ... but they got busted in the act because of CCTV - They tried to take my Crab Pots!!!!!!!!!! Not only that, they pinched a Wheelie Bin AND my BBQ (Which was really old but still functioned) - There goes my xmas party (joking)
People say LOCK up your stuff - but I reckon they should be locked up!!!!
Makes me vomit in my mouth that stuff like this happens ....... I wonder if I bought some cheap Chocolates and injected them with something and threw them at the gate or was able to come up with some pouches of poison, to implant on the underside, and were let off if someone was not suppose to lift them...
I best leave it karma and not my angry imgination at this point - I don't want to sound (c)reepy.........
Assholes.
Yes, leave it to the powers that be. Life has a funny way of repaying you back for what you've done. They're not worth it. They're still assholes & you have every right to be angry.
Morning.
Can anyone confirm if timmy vision pondcam is working? It's ok on this computer but not playing on my TV so I'm not sure if it's up.
Osby and tbone live in action (hopefully)

Yep it's working

Ooohhhhh. That's not totally fair. Must of is just totally wrong (sorry Jordan, I don't mean to be mean). It is must have. That is how the verb is constructed. It's a verb we are using, not a preposition. It SOUNDS the same if you say it quickly but is totally different word construction. It's better to actually know how to construct it correctly if you are ever going to need to write correspondence etc.
I got no idea what post you are referring to. I don't need to be corrected by anyone on here.
This is not English language class, this is the Internet.
Are you drunk or just feel the need to act like an asshole?
Well now I've forgotten what was said but I think it was about how to use the past tense correctly? And how to use a verb. It may not have been you that said it so sorry if it wasn't, but if it was do you want to know what I mean and I will try to explain it better, otherwise sorry for getting confused.
Do you feel you have an automatic right to correct people with their usage of words? I used to think you were alright, but at the moment, you are showing your true colours as another fool.
Affable wrote must of instead of must've or must have and Mooseface corrected him. Same as writing could of instead of could've or could have.
Disgusting

I cant remember but I think it was actually someone else (Tuttle not Jordan?) who wrote it and it was also someone else who originally commented (Witty, I think). I was just adding an explanation because I happen to have a particular interest in language (studying language overseas). Some people clearly dont like being corrected, though. Which - as a foreign language student who is forever being corrected and happy about it so that I can improve - I personally kind of don't get. But... there you have it. So ist das Leben. C'est la vie. Such is life. ete etc.Affable wrote must of instead of must've or must have and Mooseface corrected him. Same as writing could of instead of could've or could have.

Well..... I guess my comment on that is yes and no. It wasnt actually me who originally commented, I just offered an explanation in a follow up post. And yes I guess I feel I have as much right to comment on that as anyone else has to comment on anything else.Do you feel you have an automatic right to correct people with their usage of words? Actually, the way I perceived it was you trying to justify his foolish behaviour.

For the record: at this point in the english language the correct usage of the past tense with a modal verb is could/should/would have and NOT could/should/would of. I stand by that. It does grate when someone uses it incorrectly but I have given up being a grammar Nazi (see posts from several years ago IF you can be bothered) but occasionally if someone ELSE comments first - I will (still) add my two cents worth.

Well, I think it is quite pathetic for someone to comment on grammar on the internet. Just my two cents worth on it all.
