In situations where a post contains something which you believe breaches the rules, you are reminded that a "Report" link is placed under every post. Why report at all? Not every post can be sighted by a moderator. It is that simple.

While reporting posts due to a difference of opinion wouldn't be appropriate (not a breach of rules), reporting due to personally identifiable private details being revealed about you that you haven't shared before in some way and feel uncomfortable having public about would be an appropriate reason (unless of course your username happens to be your name, you sign off each of your posts with your first name, etc, etc...). Reporting would be a better option than trying to recruit other members to become involved and ultimately 'pick a side' ... whichever side that may be.

Having said all this, some people may be fine with their details being published online (at least, to a point). Ask yourself before posting, would the person be OK with the information you are potentially about to post about them being shared publicly? Does revealing it actually make a difference to what you are talking about? You could always ask permission from them as well. Similarly, before hitting report, is the information about you or someone else? If someone else, how do you know that they haven't given permission/are ok with it (in other words, I'm saying you shouldn't necessarily report something at the first opportunity of sighting just any potentially personal information of another member).

Of course.... if you ever get accepted as a Big Brother housemate then basically... it is no holds barred as the Behind Big Brother community goes into housemate sleuthing mode trying to uncover just who that masked person is in that censored TV promo! [Edit: right @bleachy_dude ?] ;)

Ja it's a joke. I couldn't be bothered looking for it myself. And I would hazard a guess that you actually only bothered because it became SUCH an issue. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Why else would I search if it wasn't an issue. I wanted to see how far muts went as well.
LOL What I've learned is don't get on the wrong side of muts.

Lol! ... If you made big brother housemate sleuthing against the terms then what fun would there be pre-season? Plus @Consuela would be screwed. Ha.

Thanks mate :)

Did you dress up as a pumpkin? I was supposed to go to a post Halloween zombie brunch. But I felt too much like a zombie to go.
A pumpkin? Is post-Halloween a thing now also? I'm still trying to figure out how we jumped on the bandwagon of the American Halloween traditions.

Agree. I think Willy absolutely had the right to complain to the site. But... I just don't understand why he continued to bring it up at every possible opportunity, thereby prompting you (and possibly other less lazy people than myself) to search what all the fuss was about and 'exposing' himself further.

Anyway...the Mods have spoken. Which is a good thing.

I'd say so muts didn't get away with it. dunno. There were a few trying to minimise it also...so may be that too.
Its not hard to put yourself in someones elses shoes either and I'd hate it if someone on here did that to me.
