Hey Creepy

seeing you know me so well, and can read my mind and know what all my posts mean ........ get this one ......

-------- V V V V V V V V and then a big W, followed by de bird -----------

I know you won't be offended by this, because that's 'your way' - but it makes me feel so much better :)

I wish you all the best in life, as I do for all.

Could rave on - but your ears are deaf and your eyes don't seem to see. You seem to want to stir up anything and anyone - good luck with that.

Still think you are here to DESTROY this forum .............

Why do you think i am here to destroy this forum? I love this forum. I love it because it is a place where people can put forward their opinions and other people can either agree with that opinion or disagree with that opinion. Because to me a forum is not a place just for mindless chatter but also for arguments.

Your "ears are deaf and eyes don't seem to see" comment could apply to a few other people on this forum....

What's the verdict on the horizontal waterfall overreach?

Palliative care
I went to a palliative training day last week, and the thing I took away from it is you only get one shot at a dignified death, a traumatic palliative death can haunt families for a life time. Before my career is over, I will serve some time in palliative. It is a beautiful area to work.

Hey quick question:-

Which symptom is the most common in palliative care?

A) nausea
B) pain
C) drowsiness

The oncology nurses who cared for Mum were amazing. The palliative team were simply extraordinary. I could not speak too highly of any of them.

Preferable to medical? I will say that the haematology/oncology nurses Dad has at Peninsula Private are excellent at what they do and are lovely with it.
It is full on, which I like. However I do find medical interesting as well. My greatest interest is geriatric care. I guess it comes from the years of cleaning I did in the Aged Care industry. I will never forget a 90+ year old lady saying "you know the strangest thing, Tracey? In here (pointing to her heart), I am just a girl, just a girl, like you..." That moment forever changed the way I view the grey haired brigade.

The vast majority of nurses are machines when it comes to assessing the patient, critical thinking and taking care of patients and family needs in a timely manner. We are a shoulder to the family, a gentle hand for the patient, and a messenger of information for the doctor. A good nurse can be who ever you need her to be, and as discussed by many members, I am not one of those nurses. Ha!

Really, you are the only one who knows the type of nurse you are and what you bring to the job. You don't strike me as a namby pamby nurse. I want a nurse when I'm a patient who knows her stuff, is open and honest, doesn't continually call me love, darl, dear, sweetie, haha, and is fun when caring for me.
