Apparently I've read somewhere that scientists in Japan have built a robot that can defeat a human through swordfighting.

I don't know to be honest. I was looking for it but no doubt it's in my junk mail in hotmail. I don't look at that much these days. I will do so once I get to work and let you know. My team, Carlton, is not doing well, and I didn't tip them last week. How are you going?

Doing OK - I got 8 this week - damn that Nth Melb!!!!

I am in the WA News Comp, about 45k members and I am at 2045. so that is pretty good - I am beating my fanatical partner, and have for the last 5 years, so that is a bonus!!!!!!!!

Well done. I'm doing NRL tipping too. I'm Storm of course being a Melbourne girl. Not a hope in hell of me being a Pies supporter. Who do you support?

Side note: I am always so amazed when posters are so super wary of sharing details of their lives, their first name, or a picture with people they interact with on a daily basis for years on end.

I just don't get that.

And for the record Jordan, I am easily the most cyber threatened member in here. There is apparently a whole PM posse who love to discuss my evil cuntish qualities. I have had threats of getting my nursing registration suspended and had threats of physical violence to both me and my family, and nothing has ever come of it, and do you know why? Because people who need anonymity and a keyboard to make threats are as dangerous as a fanny fart.

Another cold rainy day. I'm giving up and wearing track pants to work today. 😰

Hmm some strange drama went on last night, @JordanS I'm sorry that you feel you need to leave. I understand you feel your privacy is threatened but I'm not sure what outcome you expect to come from this. For the record, I have NFI about anything from your personal life, and my bet is that is true for the majority of members here.
 
Does anyone know if it's posible to open an automatic garage door manually? Have lost power due to this horrible weather overnight and can't get the car out. Maybe a good excuse for a sickie lol.
 
The electric box inside the garage that controls the rolling door/shutter should have an 'open' button on it. I had to 'manually' open it when mine went inexplicably haywire.
