I completed a business and commerce degree.

Well if this chosen career path doesn't suit you, Jordan, you can always learn something new. I think studying and actually working in the industry are two different things. I enjoyed what I studied but I just couldn't keep up in the industry. Family life got in the way and I realised I am too much of a helper and enjoyed it.

I doubt I will be in the industry for that long anyway.

I just don't have the passion for what I am doing that I have 2 - 3 years ago. I need that spark and passion to come back for me to go far :D

Society has morphed (not evolved) into a situation where correcting someone is a political statement. It's a bad thing. People should correct away.

Really? Not sure what I can say. You can try some work experience just to give you an idea of what it might be like. I know a friend of mine disliked what she was doing but preferred teaching it so now she does at tafe. Another one wants to lecture it for a living. Those are just some ideas for you

What? I didn't turn this into a political thing did I? I didn't mean to. I just thought it was funny because I did this so many times in a collab session that afterwards I realised I was embarrassed

No no no. That wasn't directed at anyone in here at all. More an observation where you wouldn't tell your boss not to say 'supposably', lest there be consequences, when you are doing them a favour.

Content is much more important than silly grammar or spelling mistakes. I myself make many grammar and punctuation errors, and I misspell words all the time.

Well anyways... I must be boring you lot with my study talk. I don't mean to. Unfortunately I am those type of people where I get a thrill out of studying a textbook so thoroughly, just to give you an idea. And in high school more than a few times I received an award for borrowing the most library books- wish I could say it was only for the fiction stuff ☺️. I probably should note that I have a backgammon table and I honestly cannot wait to get started on a jigsaw puzzle. Life of the party right over here haha

I really don't know why. I know that we attended library classes up until year 9 I think, and also you could be part of library events. I guess they wanted to encourage students to use it more. I think it was a great way to get students involved though

I guess it is. But I always liked the public libraries better than the school libraries so it wouldn't have worked for me.
