I'm so excited for you guys! I really enjoy property-type stuff, as boring as that sounds. I used to love looking at display homes, and I watch probably too many real estate reality shows.

So when you were talking me though my constipated grief, assuring me my bowels would be producing "soft fluffy clouds of brown goodness in no time", Were they just words?!

I was IMPALED on that thing! It made my bottom bleed it was so knobbly and hard!!!!

That was a VERY traumatic time for me and my bott bott!!

Wow exciting news @Trala - good luck for the next stage of proceedings but that's really great news and so far a pretty quick progression through the whole house hunting process, so good for you! Congratulations!

Ughhh I have none!! It's been rough. I scored a free frosty fruit at work which was good, but dammit it's not the same!!

I did! Well my husband was there but it's fair to say he is no handy man and well his hands are as soft as a baby's bottom, so thankfully my dad was there too. It's hard work and I've never felt like my upper body have been worked as hard as that week, but there is a satisfying feeling. I even did the roof of the house, the whole damn house needed a coat inside!

Haha I'm laughing because I remember my hubby saying something along these lines. I'm my dad's daughter I guess, physical work like this is not too bad, makes me feel good for whatever reason

I think your husband and I may be cut from the same cloth - I need a wife like you!

Truthfully I don't mind some aspects of renovations and I actually love sanding walls, it's just painting...I die. Possibly due to this talk of it being hard work and working out the upper body.

Good on you though, I'm impressed.

We are debating whether to paint ourselves or pay someone, oh and contract signed! Just got off the phone with my lawyer. This is happening!!

It has been so fun.

Not stressful once, but it is early days.

We loved the process of looking.
