...I'm a step-dad... it wasn't really an easy role to slide into I can tell you but it's a role that I accepted gladly for the woman that I love so much... the love outweighs the the hard task ahead for sure... it must have worked... 35 years later and I'm still their step-dad lol!... love wins in the end!!!... cheers.

Full respect for you Sticky, as for anyone who takes on that role as I imagine it can be a difficult or daunting process. Your step-child/ren are lucky to have you. My step-dad has raised me since I was around 2 and I honestly think of him as my dad, it annoys me when someone refers to my biological father (who I also call dad) as my real father, because for sure my step-dad is my real dad!

Hmm we need more synonyms for dad and father, that sentence was a bit heavy on both.

I wanted to go to see 50 Shades today but the cinema would be packed.

I am going to choose a session where hardly anyone goes, just in case something happens :D
 
I just ordered a Fitbit Charge HR. I'm officially joining the Fitbit brigade. Dick Smith had 15% off fitness bands and then they had a Valentine's day sale for 14 minutes at 4:14 to get another 14% off so I got the Fitbit Charge HR delivered for $151.43. Pretty good when the normal price is like $200

Fitbit sounds very exciting! Are you interested in the sleep tracker thing because you have some trouble sleeping, or is it just a curiousity thing?
