Flight Club

Where is the most interesting place that you have flown to?

Be it the city, island or just the airport itself.

What stood out that made you consider it above all else?

Tonga.

Such a beautiful island.[DOUBLEPOST=1418026950][/DOUBLEPOST]Flying into Sydney early evening is pretty stunning for a different reason too.

My earliest memory was flying and landing at Singapore on route to Europe as a toddler

The heat was SO immense on the tarmac, you could see it.

About 50 degress celcius

No shades of gray in sight that day

Seriously, though, this is a good idea for a thread......

The Amazon, Peru, 2011 - just this little shed at the end of some bitumen. Then taken to a couple of planks on a dirty creek. A few hours later I am in the middle of nowhere on the Amazon River with no contact with the outside world - BLISS!

Kruger National Park, South Africa on a twin-engine plane. Flying over that part of South Africa was amazing. Despite being convinced I was going to die in such a shitty plane.

Flying to cairns is my favourite because how beautiful the great barrier reef looks when above, incredible sight :)
