Today on a American BB forum site, a troll posted that Priya didn't deserve to win because she was brown skinned and that she was a woman. IT MADE MY SKIN CRAWL... I immediately reported the thread and got that shit shut down... I hate it when someone or a group tries to belittle someone because of their appearance or gender and then have 300 followers to do the same. How belligerent and crude!

Absolutely agree. However the manner in which one voices opposing opinions can leave people thinking either:
A) You are trying to help them with friendly advice, or,
B) You are trying to make people feel bad about themselves with harsh criticism.

I believe the manner in which you conducted yourself towards @AM_092 falls into category B.

People who consistently fall into category B are known as jerks.
A lot of the stuff you say on this forum is hilarious, but I think your delivery can often be a bit "jerkish".
My friendly advice to you is to spend a bit more time thinking about your delivery before clicking the "post" button in future.

I'm concerned enough to develop the thought that I don't like Priya as a housemate, and use a forum similarly to how you are, just expressing the opposite opinion. Just checked my knickers and they're not knotted.
 
Just report the troll and it will be gone like that other thing.

Yes but you are continually trying to change not only the opinions but behaviours of people you don't even know. You are having as much influence on my decision and thought process as I would be having on yours. Nil. It seems not only futile but a complete waste of time to concern yourselves with what people are choosing to spend their money on. Not only that but you come in here of all places when there are countless other threads on here that would provide you with the opportunity to speak with like-minded people. To me it seems rather pointless. You're not having any effect other than potentially finding yourself booted from this thread like that other dude. If anything I'd think that you'd want to spend your time attempting to rally up for support for those HMs you deem to be a worthy winner instead of trying to convince people of something that you have no chance to succeed in accomplishing. But whatever. Enjoy your Sunday!

haha ventilating! I really wish I'd started that Travis quote thread like I kept saying I was going to. Probably saved myself a lot of work though. He's the gift that keeps on giving, that man.
