We're not feeding off any image. We just go with the flow. We liked him when he was an "underdog" and we like him now that he is "owning" the game and gaining confidence in himself.

All Priya's fanbase better get used to is the fact that the producers are throwing her under the bus, and it is a beautiful thing to witness. It was probably their plan all along.

You made me realized that you are probably right :( The producers seem to want to throw Priya under the bus in favor of David.
Not because I am a Priya's fan, but I find that a really nasty thing to do. I won't get use to it, I hate that kind of manipulation, it is not fair to do that to any HM. Why can't we just see the HMs as they are, and judge them for what they are (sigh) :(
 
What makes people think they're throwing Priya under the bus? Not having a dig, just genuinely curious because to me she's getting rather favoured over some of the others. She got that time with Bhushan during the task to garner a sympathy vote for her close to the end. Other than Skye none of the others got that...

If you're referring to them showing her being a snake in the grass then she brought that on herself. Her tears at being called out by Melvyn and Abbey were ridiculous. Everyone saw you acting that way so just own it.

Priya opened that gate for them when she started playing more than one side and spreading rumours of which she had no evidence of. Priya's downfall started the minute Lina entered the game. Because they sent in a man-hater. An enabler. Next weeks focus is on "betrayal". Priya will be front and centre but not in the way you guys are hoping. I really hope you guys don't implode, because who would we fight with then? :laugh:

Yeah if anything she gets preferential treatment from the producers evidenced by the fact she should been evicted along with Marina but it was conveniently made into a single evic for that 1 week only. :rolleyes:

All the other stuff Priya gets called out on is because she is guilty of it, there's no way around that I'm afraid. Editing can't be blamed for putting words into housemates mouth, they do that repeatedly all by themselves and Priya has given them plenty of material to pad out multiple episodes.
 
It is interesting how we can all view the same footage and come up with such completely different interpretations of how things played out and what they meant.

Despite, or regardless of what the producers and/or editors may want us to think.

It's one of the reasons I still like this show after so many years, even as it has been bastardised beyond recognition.

BB is also throwing David under the bus.

Their plan all a long was either 'dumb' Travis & 'dumb' Skye to win.

David's sister (please no rants) posted that at the auditions they tried to break him. I am sure he wasn't the only one they tried that.

No editing can't be blamed for what a HM has said, but editing can be blamed because there are 24 hours in a day & we aren't shown the other 23 hours.

For most of this season editing is the reason Skye is so popular. (She was the goofy 2o year old)

Yet from the time Gemma was evicted, every evicted HM has said the Skye the viewers are seeing isn't the Skye they had to put up with in the house.
 
Everybody sees things differently given your bias, personal values and rose-coloured glasses. For me, you only have to look at a housemates defining moments to see how the producers want things to play out:

David
1. SaggyTitsGate - scapegoat
2. Tim's Visit - pep talk
3. SpaGate - bullied and insulted yet forgiving of others
4. Skye's momentary compassion - grateful, appreciative
5. Strategy Dave - here he comes, watch out
6. DefenceGate - scapegoat again

Priya
1. Bhushan constant visits - a gift before enacting her downfall
2. DefenceGate - paranoid and assertive
3. SpaGate #2 - mind games to oppress others
4. Ryan Rumours - perpetrating lies
5. Alliances Aplenty - here it comes, watch out, betrayal for everybody

I can't be bothered doing this for every housemate, only the ones I find interesting as I think their edits have influenced the outcome more than others.

Priya is my favorite HM and I want her to win so, so, so much, but I will never hate anyone. We can love and support someone without hating the other HMs.

I see others with their faults, just as I believe with all are. I don't judge the person, but judge their actions. For ex some of the things David did disappointed me, I don't hate him, I just want him to be evicted from the game. It is a pity because I used to like the way he was with Priya. IMO he changed. Of course I don't really know, because we are don't see all of the HMs, just bits put together.
LOL, I want everyone but Priya to go anyway, I can't wait for the end of BB.

Last year I wanted Mikkayla out so much, because of the way she was with Tahan, but I never hated her. Mikkayla the character in BB I didn't like, but the real person I like.
