MBTI - Myers-Briggs Personality Anyone?

I've long been an ENTJ - The Executive/Commander.

"ENTJs are analytical and objective, and like bringing order to the world around them. When there are flaws in a system, the ENTJ sees them, and enjoys the process of discovering and implementing a better way. They excel at logical reasoning and are usually articulate and quick-witted.

ENTJs are assertive and enjoy taking charge; they see their role as that of leader and manager, organizing people and processes to achieve their goals. They are ambitious and interested in gaining power and influence. To the ENTJ, decision-making is a vocation. They want to be in a position to make the call and put plans into motion.

ENTJs tend to be blunt and decisive. Driven to get things done, they can sometimes be critical or brusque in the pursuit of a goal. They are typically friendly and outgoing, although they may not pick up on emotional subleties in other people. They often love working with others toward a common goal, but may not find time to attend to their feelings. They are focused on results and want to be productive, competent, and influential.

ENTJs are natural leaders, and often take charge no matter where they are. They are typically direct and may seem presumptuous or even arrogant; they size people and situations up very quickly, and have trouble being anything but honest about what they see."

When I did it a year or so ago in a proper environment I got ISFJ

According to that I am an INFJ. I always knew I was "different" and that second link says it's one of the rarer types. I was brought up to be an extrovert due to my parents occupations. As I've gotten older I've reverted back to being an introvert. Life's challenges have also changed some of my tendencies but otherwise it's pretty spot on. I do tend to be protective of those around me too so finding out it's a protector combination doesn't surprise me. I don't think I'd do well as a BB HM. I'll just stick to watching others while they do it lol

Or maybe not due entirely to parents

INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large. They are, in fact, sometimes mistaken for extroverts because they appear so outgoing and are so genuinely interested in people -- a product of the Feeling function they most readily show to the world. On the contrary, INFJs are true introverts, who can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious "soul mates." While instinctively courting the personal and organizational demands continually made upon them by others, at intervals INFJs will suddenly withdraw into themselves, sometimes shutting out even their intimates. This apparent paradox is a necessary escape valve for them, providing both time to rebuild their depleted resources and a filter to prevent the emotional overload to which they are so susceptible as inherent "givers." As a pattern of behavior, it is perhaps the most confusing aspect of the enigmatic INFJ character to outsiders, and hence the most often misunderstood -- particularly by those who have little experience with this rare type.

I'm an infj :) I think it would be incredibly hard for infjs to survive in the bb house!

But as far as typing housemates does anyone have any ideas or hms with interesting personalities? I think Skye's most likely an ENFP, what about david? IxTx? I think it's hard to distinguish between judging/perceiving because the hms aren't really controlling their lives… for example Priya seems an obvious INTx, but is she a J or P?

Apparently I'm INTJ. Taken it a couple times for the same result, but I think I'm just barely a T.

It's kind of weird but I think she's got the strengths of both.
She's an extremely thorough planner, very organised; but she's also extremely adaptable and perceptive.

I wouldn't call her spontaneous, though, so I'm leaning more towards J.
She does everything for a reason. I'm sure she isn't the type to rush into things without thinking long and hard over the consequences first.

Agreed, agreed. I'm going with INTJ. The way she speaks is incredibly well thought-out and organised. But you're right she is also adaptable and doesn't come across as rigid. For an intj though, she is incredibly socially aware. Often thinkers can come across as unaware or uninterested in others' social needs/feelings but Priya is VERY aware! She basically has the manipulative-ness/social awareness of an infj, but with the ability to not get too emotional/stay 'playing the game' of a T.

Ryan's a puzzler, any thoughts? I went through all the types individually and thought INFJ… but he can't be!? I don't know. He's introverted, definitely a feeler by hating the conflict. I thought S originally but now in the later stages of the game he is coming across as v manipulative and secretive, more indicative of an intuitive than a sensor… and then maybe P but he is very orderly, happy to clean and likes a system of cleanliness among the house? I don't know. He's hard to tell because he's definitely putting on a facade, plays a bit dumb etc.

There are lots of tests on the internet, ultimately they're not perfectly accurate, but doing a couple of them should give you some kind of idea.
I would recommend doing this:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp (this one tells you whether you sway between different functions so you can research them further)

and maybe another mbti test you find on google.

Then go read on http://www.personalitypage.com/html/portraits.html the type(s) you got and see if you think it fits you. For me, I knew straight away with no doubt what I was when I read its profile. For others, they struggle for a long time to figure out what they are.

There are other more complex ways of doing it but this should suffice!

Thank-you for this. I got ISFJ and the portrait in your link is so spot on!

Thanks for the link. That was interesting
I am a ESFP

I did the test twice because the first time I got INJT and the description of it is nothing like me + it says...

......women of this personality type are especially rare, forming just 0.8% of the population - it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals who are able to keep up with their relentless intellectualism and chess-like maneuvering.

I am not a chess like maneuvering strategist AT ALL.... So I did the test again and got the same bloody answer....SMH....

Were any of the functions close? Like was it a strong indicator for T or were you bordering on some? You could try and look at this: http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.html
Scroll down to Q1 and you can read both options for all 4 functions and sort of decide yourself.
My father's an extreme INTJ and I can see why (if you are in fact an INTJ) you feel the type doesn't fit you. I met a girl who was super outwardly kind and bubbly and carefree and I could not believe when she told me she was an intj - nothing like my father! There is plenty of other information out there if you just type intj into google. Perhaps female intj? Intjs are called "scientists", and it's often suggested they love looking at mechanical devices, seeing how things work, the laws of physics/cause and effect etc. To me this sounds very 'male', and it's possible you do think the way an intj does, but just with more feminine things haha. Good luck!

Hugely interested in MBTI and have studied it thoroughly. I'm an ENTP (borderline F). INFJs are my favourite kinds of people  (typically).

Dunno enough about latest intruders, but I think remaining originals (inc. Leo) are:

Trav ESFP
Dave ISTJ
Priya INTJ
Ryan INTP
Skye ENFP
Leo ENFP

I would have to agree with this. Skye is definitely Ne.

Also, I think Priya might be more E than I, but borderline.

Who's to know though without the proper results from BB Psychologists.

As for intruders, on minimal impressions:

Lina ENFJ
Tom ESFP
Richard IxTJ
Penny ExFP

Interesting to note, INTJ is the ideal type for serial killers :p

I don't know... I think they'd be well loved on the inside, but may be hard for the public to get a well rounded view of them, especially with edits, as I don't think they'd do enough of what's necessary to constantly be on screen. They've got strength of mind, even though they are very sensitive.
