Cat the seductress...

It's not about 'older' and 'younger'. It's about their actual age difference. If she was 4-5 years within his age range, it wouldn't be so huge. Let's be real here - biologically-speaking, way older women don't appeal to men, just as way younger men don't appeal to women in cultural/historic terms/reasons. I hate the argument that older women can't go younger, but that's when the age difference isn't really all that big. They're close to a decade apart, no? Or am I totally getting her age wrong? Because I thought she was 31-32?

She isn't really hot. Being 'not unattractive' isn't the same as being attractive, which is my point. She also doesn't have a great personality... although I can see why a man might like her given she's really easy and likes to laugh it up without providing her own spin on things. She's the insecure man's dream.

Also - lol her little fit regarding the whole singing thing was hilarious. I wish Sandra had gone off on her, but Sandra just didn't give a shit at that point. Cat is a baby. There is 0 appeal to her, imo, unless you want a relationship with a fucking stick.

Cat is attractive. Eight years is not that much of a difference. Lawson said to Big Brother "When Cat speaks I listen." which means to me that Cat does like to give her own opinion.

She may give her opinion at times, but she doesn't have a strong personality or character at all. That's fine and dandy - lots of girls are like that - but she definitely doesn't have a great personality. Then again, some people think 'great personality' = quiet and nothing much to add.

And I honestly would have guessed she was 37.

Without her desperation, lack of control, dignity and self-respect, she is a complete non-event.

Can anybody remember anything Cat did in the house before she grasped onto Lawson?

My cat has more personality.

I don't fully know her character because the show can be heavily edited. From the footage I have seen I would personally put Cat's personality as an insecure crazy clingy creeper. I think Cat can be strong when she wants to be but often goes the weaker route because maybe it has worked for her in the past?

No. I only noticed her when she first talked to Sandra about her crush on Lawson.

It seems like an age since Cat got the most save votes one week, and then was voted to be HOH.
How things have changed in the space of a few weeks.
If it wasn't for the hookup with Lawson, she might have lasted a whole lot longer in the game.

Conversely, if Lawson had respected his girlfriend and set the barriers with Cat, he could have got to the final 5 or 6. After the first week of this season, he was near the top of the popularity charts. All of that magic stuff and the pairing with Aisha in the perfect pairs thing was working well for him. Damn, he blew it, in more ways than one

Well, it seems that Lawson was relying on Candice's mother as some sort of maternal substitute after his mother died, based on what he said in the diary room the other night.

I don't think relying but she would have naturally filled the role knowing he had feelings for her daughter and would have sympathized with the fact that his own mother had passed away. Lawson isn't perfect, he fucked up and owned up to it and showed genuine remorse. He is in a unique situation and Cat has been a woman on a mission to get what she wants. Cat will not be ignored!!

Yes I agree. Lawson was in a relationship he should have stopped it, as did Sam.

I still think Lawson will try and get back with Candice when he is out of the house, this thing with Cat won't last beyond Big Brother.
She'd have to be one hell of a woman to forgive such treachery. I am a guy and if that happened to me I would never forgive!! never ever!!
