It would make sense if it was true. The way channel 9 have butchered the whole concept has changed Big Brother from an up to date immersion in the experiences of the housemates to an almost soap opera episodal delivery. It's a pity because it used to be way more interesting for both the viewers and the contestants. No episodes on Sundays, this Fridays episode not going to air, that unbelievably tacky sleeping beauty angle....it does add up to a cack handed approach to it all. Hopefully another channel will pick up the ball and do more with it all. Having Sonia as the host is about the only decent effort that the network has made about the program this year.

Are you going to include the FB posts that I saw that she'd some more light on the situation or just the post that says this guy was her b/f and dumped her?
 
ugh i'm just watching now... made me sick to see ryan and sandra high fiving each other over their SICK BURNZ immediately after calling skye an immature little girl. yeah you're so cool ganging up on someone you see as a little girl! amazing work, very mature. it's rich seeing them calling her out on her immaturity like they're not doing the same exact thing but with bigger words and a backbreaking sense of superiority.

skye was so right about her point that if it was HER sooking about being nominated EVERYONE would be riding her ass instead of tiptoeing around her like they are sandra. i do think skye plays up the "dumb blond" stereotype but to me it seems to be a defense mechanism she's found works when she's feeling overwhelmed and confused during confrontation. i can't handle confrontation either - i freeze up and just cry straight away (i know it's pathetic haha) so it seems believable to me that it's a way of managing, like how other people might just freeze up.

so sick of the cat and lawson stuff. it's so boring. i wonder what either of them would be like if they didn't have this lame cheating bullshit to rely on??

the letters were a draaaag, though jason's pain killed me (which i assume people are saying is a ploy or playing the 'gay card' but it's something that non-straight people deal with all the time so i love seeing it in such an honest, frank way on my tv).

Guys im at work and really cant read 70 pages of content.. can someone quickly tell me what happened with Priya/Skye and Jason? also Skye and Ryan?

Okay finally watched the Skye/Ryan/Sandra argument. Skye is smarter than she is letting on and is being "dumb" is a large part of her strategy. I have raised two LD daughters, and both are incredibly bright, one has an above genius level IQ. LD doesn't mean dumb, but pretty girls learn quickly to play that card. I know I am in the minority; and as much as I like Skye and dislike Sandra/Ryan...I completely agree with their side of the argument. I also agree with David's points about how much more strategic she is than they had thought previously.

oh please - she was sitting when they walked up and started to talk - where was he to sit? on the ground? when he later went into the bedroom he didn't stand over her - he lay across the bed to talk to her

I don't believe he was deliberately trying to intimidate Skye - but he WAS trying to get his point across and her little girl dumb act was not flying with him and others because of what they'd just seen of her in DR

her tactic of "I don't understaaaaaand" would be annoying in the extreme - having to repeat your point over and over and getting the same "I don't understaaaaand" back each time would not ease the tension

ok but they were no longer buying her little girl act and felt good that they didn't once again let her get away with it but called her on it in front of others
even Cat and Jason got their point and defended Ryan's behaviour right away to her
Priya seemed to feed her behaviour ... I think Priya realises Skye is popular and wants to undermine that in the house - hence feeding her childish behaviour AND trying to put the wedge between Skye and Leo

OR he's trying to get his point across to her that her actions ARE immature

In interviews Lisa has said that Skye would yell and swear at her in the house - Skye does raise the volume a lot

I love how a HM gets labelled a psycopath simply for trying to express their opinion - she was trying to play the dumb act and he wasn't having it

Is she to be allowed to get away with temper tantrums and sulking simply because of her age or should they call her on it

After all - she had no problem then calling Sandra on HER moody behaviour - should be able to go both ways NOT just Skye's way

I don't think viewers get any appreciation of the full 24hrs with only having highlight shows as we do ... if we had live feeds like they do for US and Canada you get to see all the down time and sitting around and twiddling of thumbs

With no TV, no books, no music, no news of current events to stimulate conversation after a while they've had all the usual getting to know one another conversations, they've heard the best stories, they know all about the families and best friends, jobs etc ...

I'm wondering just how well Travis is going with his solitary confinement - I really thought Ben would be around longer than the one day/one night that he seemed to be there ... wondering if they only ever planned for it to be short or if Ben called a halt?

Skye said NOTHING in her nomination about Ryan to warrant his reaction. Maybe Rysa has left his run too late, considering he sat back judging the others with his lovely little fence-sitting nature, until now!! Only now are we hearing any friggen thing about him but we are suppose to suddenly find him endearing because he had gnarly depression?? I've never heard such an immature reference to such a serious issue.

Interesting that you call Ryan immature, because that is the very thing that Ryan accuses Skye of being. Anyway, I'm not buying it. Given his very real psychopathy, this is probably a lie to gain sympathy from Sandra and Dave.

once they walked away though they were telling each other (in the bedroom) like she's just an immature little girl, she's a brat, etc. which seems contradictory to what they are saying about it being all an act. my opinion though is that skye's personality isn't just an act so ofc my view of their interaction is coloured by that.

Ryan was annoyed by Skye, he voiced it and that is okay. It's not like he removed her built up shoe and beat her with it while she lay whimpering. They had a heated conversation, just like real people do.

Given her age and experience, I think she handled herself brilliantly.

Stop painting Skye as a fragile wounded bird. She is a strong minded, sassy, silly, sexy, sweet, stupid, ball of flawed energy and she will be the hero of her own story, that I am sure.

I am merely commenting on the treatment. Ryan was intimidating her, trying to make her look and feel dumb. Others jumped in. I am not commenting on Skye, more the behavior of others.
