Lovin' on Lawson

Lawson was one of my faves when he was partnered with Aisha. He seemed nicer and funnier in a way. But since the pairs split up, I've been liking him less and less and I'm not sure exactly why. He seems to have changed, or most likely just shown more of his 'real' self, I suppose. :(

In the beginning everyone puts on an act to be liked. Surely enough as the weeks go on the true person emerges. I saw it the most with Katie and Lawson. Maybe the real Lawson is not so loveable.
 
I'm someone who can see the grey areas in life. I don't think it is as easy as we should always hate cheaters. What he does to his girlfriend actually isn't any of my business. That is their's. Whilst I don't condone cheating, i don't hang draw and quarter people for it either.

I think being in the BB house is probably a pretty full on experience and something like cheating is a real possibility. It doesn't mean they are bad people. It means they are people who are not doing the right thing.
 
Infidelity can actually be a very complicated and multi-faceted issue at it's core. It's very easy to shun cheaters and brand them this and that but there's a lot more at play than that. Not saying it's right, just that it's complicated, so yes, it is very much a grey area issue.
 
Cheating happens all the time. But it rarely happens where your partner has to watch it on national tv along with an audience of 600,000 people.
And, you are locked away from your partner so they can't even discuss it with you.
That is why cheating is much worse in the big brother house.

I'm pretty stunned they would do this given the absolute hell that Tully went through last year, and still gets from absolute strangers. Not to mention the hell Tahlia, who seems like a pretty great girl and a good partner for Tully, had to live.

Tully paid a very high price and she and Drew couldn't make it work more than a few months out of the house. I don't know why other people don't see that example and learn from it.

If they think they can copy Tully's recent success they are dead wrong,Tully's popularity on social media has been growing recently because of her own style, beauty and work. She gets the jobs she has had because of her media connections, not because of big brother.
 
The magic gimmick probably had a short shelf life anyway. I was hoping after doing that stupid hand gesture enough times, they'd become necrotic and drop off. It's right up there with Ed's cards.

There's red flags all over the place here. Lawson was dangling carrots left, right and centre; as an example, I think feeding grapes into the mouth of a woman who's not your partner, and picking her up in your arms and playfully throwing her into a pool is pretty much off limits. A 30 year-old divorcee confessing feelings for someone in their early 20s who has a partner....pretty egregious, really. Who knows what else had been going on that we haven't seen in the daily shows?

Whether on Big Brother or out in the real world, these 2 should know better; they both signed up for this show full knowing that there was a chance they would be put into compromising situations. She shouldn't be asking someone who's got a girlfriend on the outside into an intimate space like the sanctuary, and he shouldn't have agreed to go with her (and that came from Travis, of all people). And they sure as hell shouldn't be canoodling in a bath or a bed.

They've both sunk their chances of winning, but the real loser in this is Lawson's girlfriend. Not only is she being cheated on, it's happening on national television. At least he has that 5 grand cheque to cuddle up to at night after this is over.

I suspect it happens a lot the other way too with the partners of HMs - only their actions don't get broadcast. Sadly too it's something that can be manipulated by producers - they will always make any potential "showmance" look to be far more involved than it is.

Lawson is fucked.

Cheating is reality TV goldmine for BB; I think he is too stupid to realise that anything he does with Cat is going to be broadcasted and/or blown way out of proportion; every kiss, every look, every hug, hand hold, conversation... anything that can be made to fuel the cheating story line is going to be shown. And with 24hours a day to get the suggestive footage, they won't find it difficult.

After how much Tully/Drew got the country talking last year, they are not going to miss this one. Channel 9 is a bad network to be on bb if you have something to lose on the outside - you just have no idea what they are showing.

He will leave this house a national villain - and soon.
 
There's no way he would have had sex with her, possibility of kissing but for all we know they could have been eating chocolates under the covers.

agreed, not condoning his behaviour, however he is 23...which would have made him 17 when he began his relationship...hypothetically speaking he has probably had limited sexual experience, so when a desperate 30 year old woman is throwing herself at him, this result should be of no surprise......I mean, his favourite hobby is magic....really people, do the math!!!!
