Friendship is something I always struggle to define. Or perhaps I define it too much to the point where sometimes it honestly doesn't seem to exist for me. But generally speaking, I'd say friendship means, overall, comfort.
Desperation is never an attractive quality, babe.
You sound just like Cat from BB. Dry your tears, and pull yourself together.
He will be back in an hour or so.
I am a selfish person and I can't be fucked on wasting time with people who don't sparkle. I have a rule, to be my friend you need to tick at least one of my 3 friendship criterea boxes.
I call them The 3 L's
You need to either:-
1. Make me laugh
2. Inspire me to learn
3. Make me feel loved
You my darling do all 3. Xo
That's such a good list! There isn't an immediately tangible quality that I use to identify friendship which is maybe how it can get so complicated, that list is so simple but honestly so effective, I really must keep a mental note of this.
You give me forum laughter and forum learning (great thread idea) every fucking day!![]()
My cat vomited on my shoe.

Oh my God!
New Summer wardrobe!
Why is it when you are searching for a specific outfit you can never find it, but if you have a brain explosion that ends with "let's go shopping" you can't find a bad item!
2 summer dresses
4 super cute tops
2 pairs of shorts
1 pair of black no wrinkle wide leg pants
And a pair of those light demin pants that are loose in fit, but tight on your calves and ankles
$560!!
Receipts are hidden, clothes are hanging in wardrobe and my partner will never know!
Mwhahahahahahahaha!!!!
Side note, I know this is pathetic, but I love cleaning my home. I am a neat freak and I get such self satisfaction! I am like super organised. My clothes are even colour coded!!! Seriously!
I refuse to waste time on "complicated" and I put my needs first when it comes to love or friendship.
I don't care if you are friend or family, if you don't tick one of my L's, you're gone.
I had a very voilent and unpredictable childhood, which lacked a childs basic needs - love, laugher and learning. As an adult I refuse to spend quality time with anyone who doesn't provide me with at least one of those things.
Since I brought in my ruling, my life has never been more joyous or simple.
On friendship...I agree with PP and Willo and I'll throw in never being judgemental whether you agree with what they are doing or not.
