Step aside Travis, there’s another heavy accent about to enter the Big Brother House and he’s gunning for top-dog status!
Our first Intruder is not from around here, but the 30-year-old proud “Queenslander” is adamant his loyalty lies with Australia.
“I just fell in love with the country,” he says of the six-week holiday to Australia that has now spanned seven years. “I fell in love with everything about it. Australia feels more like home to me than anywhere else I’ve ever lived, and I never wanted to leave.”
Despite the “original” Housemates’ three week lead in the game, this fitness fanatic has zero concerns about making up lost ground.
“Where some people see [being an Intruder] as a downfall, I think you can take that opportunity, where all the attention’s on you, and really make an impact,” he says. “The other 16 Housemates all went in together, so their entry and their initial experience is all rolled up together. But for me, it’s going to be a singular event.”
And the other Housemates had best be on high alert because this smooth-talker is playing to win!
“This is a game show; we’re all in there competing,” he says. “I’m going in to win it, and I hope the country that I love and the country that’s adopted me as its own son will support me and take me all the way through to the finals.”
