Episode Day 5 (12/09/14) Daily Show

I don't think she's playing him, she totally needed his stamp of approval.
Well, maybe. But she has identified Travis as one of the instigators of the plot against her, and she was in bed with him, talking about kissing and stuff, so the opportunity for subterfuge is still there.

I totally forgot BB was on last night but it seems I didn't miss much.

On that note. I wrote some material for Jake.

My name is jake and I'm a douchebag
I put the RAP in CRAP and sound like a dag. My mum says I'm talented my dad says I'm rad but hey they're losers and everyone's sad.

Shoot me now, I mean with a gun. Not with airtime it's not any fun. My stupid glasses and my Hawaiian shirt punch me now and make me hurt.

.... Note I'm probably still drunk and I really need a pizza.

:( ... I rarely like the first week of Big Brother...I expect things will improve when nominations start. I hope thats soon... And please please please NO MORE RAPPING!!

You better work on your vo-cab-u-lar-y just in case he doesn't get tossed out asap.

I think Katie and Travis will end up, hooking up. It seemed to me he was trying to hint to her that it wasn't Aisha he was interested in. But I could have just read the situation wrong. I'm about to rewatch the episode since my attention wasn't fully on it last night.

I've come to the realization that I am probably going to end up liking Skye, even if I don't want to. Early days though.

Assuming he has decks of cards you can play games with.....

Of course they allow him his magic tools, it's his gimmick.

She kind of explained it already. She had learning difficulties and so things were hard, no one expected much and she used it as a way to get out of doing things. To get out of learning, of doing well at school and so forth. She struggled and took the easy way out. This appears to have manifested itself as a way of self infantilisation. I am kind of expanding and making assumptions but I really think she is an infantilised person and it's because she didn't want to deal with her learning problems. Remember despite her 48 year old with plastic surgery and painted face, she is only 20. She hasn't experienced much of life yet to get past it.

I don't think anyone should be so quick to judge her. This isn't healthy but she does seem like a good person so far and everyone has different situations and takes different paths in life.

It is funny with her, I think she has a great body, but the way she acts doesn't make her attractive at all.
No one cares whether you think she's attractive or not lol

Nailed it!!

Wait there was an issue with this!
Did people complain?

I think it's merely Skye knows she isn't the person, the adult she wants to be and Gemma was kind of upfront and brought up issues Skye is aware of. So there may be a bond or friendship or something that can come from it.
Not trying to start a fight with you or anything but I think it's a stupid assumption to say skye isn't the "person, the adult" she wants to be...like did you just get that from her trying to assure herself that she's smart? I think skye isn't the person YOU would want her to be.

Typical of modern style Big Brother it's very manipulative editing, so you get somebody saying something followed by something which is supposed to illustrate that. I really don't see how Katie and Travis talking about who is attractive is different to anyone else doing it. It's actually the kind of conversation you suspect BB encouraged as they always want to push the showmance angle.

I hope Skye doesn't have a showmance with Jake and I'd prefer Katie to get along with someone other than Travis. Sandra seems a bit of moaner.
Yeah I liked sandra at the start but her comment about wanting to leave after 5 days because she's "not having fun" changed my opinion a little bit

I don't remember (or it was so boring that my attention wandered) - did we see Sandra say that, or someone saying that she had said it?
She said it, but if I recall correctly they didn't show her elaborating on it.
She just made a quick comment to Cat about how she had felt the night before she wasn't having fun and wanted to go home.

OK SO HERE'S HOW IT THE WHOLE 'SANDRA WANTS TO LEAVE' STORM-IN-A-TEACUP REALLY WENT DOWN.

- Show starts with Mike saying the shakes have left the mood in the house feeling down.
*Cut to Sandra entering the kitchen*
- Sandra to Cat 'We need to talk later. I had the same situation as you last night' 'Oh really?' 'Yeah it was like I'm going home'.
*Cut to Gemma and Sam in the gym*
- Gemma to Sam 'Sandra's saying she's having no fun and talking about leaving' 'This's what Sandra's saying?' 'Yeah like I was lying there trying to sleep and she's like oh you know I'm just not having and fun like I could be having fun at home with my mates. And I'm like you ungrateful bloody cow.'

What this tells me is that in a moment of hangry weakness Sandra thought she might have a bit of a de-stress with David/Gemma (not quite sure if Gemma was just listening in or an actual part of the conversation). Then Gemma being the bitch she is goes around telling everyone Sandra wants to leave.

Sorry but no. Sandra doesn't really want to leave. She's not going around telling everyone she want's to leave. She had a vent to one, maybe a couple, of people before she went to bed. I would too after 5 days of shakes and no caffeine.

It seemed to me a little bit of a throw away comment
