BBAU 2014 Launch Date 7th/8th September

Yet the regulator lets them get away with starting shows 20-30 minutes late on a nightly basis, and viwership has only gone down since this practise became common place, yet the networks still do it.
It's beyond a joke now. I could understand live shows going over but now every damn show goes over. I know why they do it and I hate that they get away with it.

Yeah that's why they manipulate 30 minutes of 1 popular show (i.e The Block 8:00 to 8:30 closer to 8:40 inundated with ads. I'm guessing the schedule as I don't watch this kind of boring reality tv rubbish) to be chock a block with ads and then make up for it in the following 30 minutes of another timeslot in a less popular show from 8:30 to 9 with more actual tv content and less ads. That's how more or less it works I think.
Even with the live shows they do it on purpose, it is definitely not some unavoidable accident that it goes over their slotted schedule.

I seriously don't understand why Big Brother cops so much flak from idiots that don't like the show. I absolutely loathe boring rubbish reality tv like Master Chef, Biggest Loser, My Kitchen Rules, The Block, The Voice. X factor and all those other karaoke, cooking, reno reality shows and yet I don't go out of my way to bitch incessantly about them. *shrugs*And her we go.... Don't like BB ? Then switch to another channel, borrow a dvd or do some other productive activity.

What I'm saying is that BB cops an unusual large amount of hate from imbeciles every time it's on air more so than similar reality shows. And for the life of me I don't understand why since it is a lot more entertaining than the other crappy reality shows I mentioned in my previous post.
Ain't that truth. One of my colleagues is legit obsessed with The Bachelor and I was all 'Ha! Sounds like my obsession with BB'. Which elicited major side eye and a 'I can't believe you watch that crap' comment from her. I mean step off bitch The Bachelor ain't no better than BB!

Personally, the only reality TV I'll watch is BB.
But, I'll hazard a guess that people who dislike BB but like other reality TV don't see any 'constructive' nature or positive outcome to BB. IE, cooking shows produce meals you can attempt, dating shows end up with (ahem) true love flourishing, renovation shows produce dwellings that can be lived in, etc.

Just a heads up: It is the 18th now, so that means launch tickets are on sale to the general public! Quite a lot of seats already sold out.
I notice the T&C's say no signs in VIP & Gold again. There's also no general admission 'grass' seating. So Is the set changing at all this year? At the moment it doesn't seem like it!! And if it does, it looks like the layout will be the same (Sonia standing on a smallish circle with the old stage blacked out)...

Half the people making negative or derogatory comments are probably secretly watching it on the sly

) value similar to sitcoms you could say. Those other reality tv programs that have spread like weed on the other hand, you couldn't pay me enough to sit through them. *shrugs*
