Inigo Montoya

@Goon I was wondering if we are going to do a Q &A again this year with Alex?
With only a few weeks left till Launch, I'm sure Alex is really busy. We won't bother him at this point in time.
We have seem the promo and had a sneak peak at the house which is more information that previous years.
I think we just wait till the Storm hits and if time permits, we may ask him then.

OK fair enough, I just was really hoping we would be doing the Q & A again this year I had just signed up last year and missed out on asking a question. With only a few weeks left till Launch, I'm sure Alex is really busy. We won't bother him at this point in time.

Oh well.....

I had thought about this as well the other day, and I have to say I was so incredibly surprised he replied to my questions last year. I was going to ask less cynical ones this time. No, really.

If the Storm has arrived special has housemates going in, it won't likley have them on stage, rather just catching up on them going in the day before, like Jade and Drew.
The BBAU social media accounts have now officially confirmed that the Launch will air September 8th.

that is so stupid! how are they going to schedule that? they wont take The Block off so it must be 8.30pm start for launch night it just seems ridiculous. If they had of had it on Sunday then The Block would have been on at its normal time of 6.30pm and then BB at 7.30pm. Unless they are planning on running Sun/Mon nights eps of The Block on the Sunday. The BBAU social media accounts have now officially confirmed that the Launch will air September 8th.

There were a couple of 8.30am show starts last year. Do we remember how they rated? From memory, I don't think they did tooo badly compared to the earlier shows...
8.30pm is late, but also means I get to sneak in a tennis set with the fam before it starts

I loved the 8:30pm starts last year. It worked a lot better for my own schedule, but also the show did take a tiny bit more risk during the later timeslot. The "family-friendly" thing was relaxed a little when the show aired at this time. Remember? It didn't seem as restricted. Therefore, I'm more than happy to welcome it back.
In saying that, I'm also in the boat with those who believe it'll revert back to 7:00pm/7:30pm once The Block ends. Fingers crossed it doesn't though! I love the later timeslot!

but it seems a bit strange to convert back to 7.30pm if they start it at an adult time in the first place, meaning they need to pick what sort of demographic they want this year, if they want to get a bit more adult then suddenly switch to 7.30pm and water it down it just seems dumb, especially when the further you get into the series you cant just change the whole tone of the show and expect people to be happy.I loved the 8:30pm starts last year. I agree with you 150%, as would any logical TV network, but remember...this is Channel 9 we're talking about.but it seems a bit strange to convert back to 7.30pm if they start it at an adult time in the first place, meaning they need to pick what sort of demographic they want this year, if they want to get a bit more adult then suddenly switch to 7.30pm and water it down it just seems dumb, especially when the further you get into the series you cant just change the whole tone of the show and expect people to be happy.

and not to mention the fact The Block never finishes on time or it goes over by an obscure time. even though its pre recorded and edited before airing
What has that got to do with anything? lol Popular shows like The Block invariably go over their schedules because they're bombarded with commercials due to said popularity (the larger the audience the more they charge advertisers) not because they're live or some other excuse.

Oh, it will. I can feel it.

Wahoo!
One episode this week ran something like 55 minutes - and that's with all commercials removed. I'd hate to imagine what time it would've ended broadcast....and not to mention the fact The Block never finishes on time or it goes over by an obscure time. even though its pre recorded and edited before airing
No, wasn't that a double episode due to the football being on the following night in some states? One episode this week ran something like 55 minutes - and that's with all commercials removed. I'd hate to imagine what time it would've ended broadcast....
