A Storm Is Coming (Big Brother 2014 Promo #1)

No. No and NO. We've had 3 dogs now. Done to death. Forget animals.

I know it probably gets them some followers on SM and maybe some viewers, but if the show needs an animal to get ratings, then there's something else wrong.

Maybe a fish... Ohh wait already been done.

I love it when they introduce the doggies. I guess you have to be a dog lover though. I loved Delilah. She was gorgeous.

I'm sure they'll do it again this year :)

Considering Alex M is still running the show, it wouldn't surprise me if by 'new breed' he meant that the dog this year will be eligible to win the $250,000...
Based on the last couple of years that's not such a bad idea.

One bad thing though about the promo is it still comes across as very "family friendly" to me, so I don't think the later time slot is going to make much difference to how they sell it.

TBH I don't think the later timeslot has anything to do with the demographic target. I predict once The Block is over BB will takeover the earlier slot.

The Block won't be finished. It will have at least a few weeks left when BB starts.

6pm - News
7pm - ACA
7:30pm - Block
8:40pm / 8:50pm or whatever time the block finishes is the only slot left for BB.

Didn't they change the news/ACA schedule last year? I am sure BB was on at 7pm here.
News was 1/2 hr and ACA started at 6.30?

Nine extended the news by 30 minutes last year. Initially it was a result of bushfire coverage in NSW only (other states unaffected). But now the change is national.

For the record, I love animals, my dog only recently died aged 15. This presently leaves me with my cat and a new addition is in the works. :)

But that doesn't alter my view. I don't watch BigBrother for cute animals (other than bi-peds, that is). ;)

I had forgotten it was the bushfires first. P
Mate, you have an amazing memory. Either that or you keep a database of everything that happens in TV land. Haha

Yeah, but news for an hour is a ratings winner so don't expect it to revert any time soon.

Is it really a winner? How much news can we all take? Let us all have some fun, for goodness sake and watch lighthearted shows, instead of the "news" that is everywhere and if you wish to find "news", people will find it.

Personally, I don't watch WIN/9 News - it never ends!!!!

I was just saying maybe they might revert back, and BB might land the 7pm time slot - Never Know ;)

Channel 9's news is ridiculous!

They have early morning news at 5am
Today Show 5.30-9.00am
Morning News 11.00am-12pm
Nine News now (for mums) - 3.00pm-4.15pm
Nines afternoon news 4.15-5.30pm
Nine nightly news - 6pm-7pm

Surely they can trim something

I just got around to watching this.

I don't even know what they're trying to do. Couples going in? Pairs of... ?

Two PERSONAL TRAINERS!

Two ASPIRING ACTORS!

Two FAUX LESBIAN HIPSTERS![DOUBLEPOST=1408203757][/DOUBLEPOST]
Mr clonney was really popular with the fans, I would be OK if he came back.

I'd wager most BB fans are easily amused....
