That sounds like a horrible system in the US. Having the ex HMs decide? Maybe make it that they cast a special vote with more weight or some BS. Anyway... not worth caring about.

Just think about Survivor, if you've watched it. The ex housemates are the same as the jury in Survivor who are the previously voted competitors. It's exactly the same thing. It's a game about strategy and gamemanship, not relationships or popularity.
