Ed is a deadset prick.

How would you react if someone shouted Idiot at you infront of a group of people?

I would not react to it, because it is in his head, if he thinks I am an idiot, well I would have nothing to do with him. I can't control what is in people mind, but I can control my reaction to it. Getting upset doesn't do me any good. If other people think that too because of what he said, they are not worth bothering with.

I found a gif of Ed :)

Oh that is so cute. It is perfect for Ed. I love it

Ha! I think we all know the real reason he's afraid of bananas...

See those GIF I like :) They make me laugh.

The others from those now 3 people are very immature. I think they are a type of people I am happy to have never had anything to do with. Madonna overuses them, but she doesn't attack forumers. She just support her favorite.

Ed is completely used to people just respecting his authority without question. He expects people to respond to his comments the way Jade and Mikkayla do.

He is frightened of Tim, and cannot deal with this fact.

Tim went into the house wanting to take down the archetype that Matt, Caleb and Ed all represent.

Tim is not threatened by Ed, as his genuine smile at the idea showed, aside from the fact that he chose to put himself up for nomination next to him, where Ed chose to put up The Lady Jady instead of facing Tim

Ed has a lot of cognitive dissonance caused by his response to Tim. He is afraid of him, but he thinks he is better than him, because he forces himself to act with 'manners' and that, he thinks, is enough to make him better. Tim does not respect him, at all, and Ed sees constant attacks coming from Tim because Ed is constantly thinking about attacking Tim.

Being called an idiot was just seen by him as 'Ah ha! Finally I have ammunition against him. No one could withstand my point of 'So you think it is okay to call people idiots?' Jade and Mikkayla fail to disagree out loud.

So he tries to work up the courage to say something, but Tim tries to clear the air first. Ed will not consider a word Tim says, because he is quite up himself and knows that Tim is a manipulator, and also smarter than him, and he is scared of him, so he will not entertain any argument, however reasonable. that may come from Tim because it is a jedi mind trick and he goes on, saying things like 'exactly' when Tim proves something he said is logically wrong, but basically Ed cannot believe this nerd isn't just accepting what he says to him because he is himand that his card being played has not hobbled poor Tim into submission

Ed is a deadset prick.

l.a.r.a I agree. MADONNA is the gif QUEEN

On topic, not sure if Ed is a prick, but if he is, I feel sorry for the prick. I agree with another poster somewhere who said he was happy to be in the 'top' group (Caleb/Matt, even Heidi) but is now definitely on his own apart from Jade. It's hard not to feel sorry for him being isolated and undermined by some of the others.

You have described Tim and Ed perfectly. The situation between them is also exactly the way I see it.

Perfectly said. Actually ed wanted to start the talk but I think tim started it. He's to chicken shit to confront tim. Now the PRICK is trying to manipulate jade into being like him. I wish jade would get over him.

ED is getting worse. STUPID EDIOT

Correct. Nicely summed up

Yeah, Ed's a cocky bastard and wouldn't meet people like Tim and Mikkayla on the outside. You know...smart people who don't worship sportsman. I guess, being a jock, he expects everyone to suck up to him and he's put out that not everyone subscribes to his view that he is socially superior.

This is an absolutely spot-on evaluation of Ed and his views on the situation he is in........The only part I see differently is the idea that Tim is smart. Tim is manipulative, cunning and strategic, but I don't think he harbours any great intellect. Although when it comes to Ed, Tim is, by comparison, of far greater intellectual prowess!!

Ed is unable to understand why he is not the Alpha Male, when there is only Himself, Tim and Drew left out of all the males.... The idea that he could be "out-mannED" by the somewhat asexual/sometimes Camp Tim, and the brooding enigma Drew, has Ed utterly confusED. He is unable to think about anything else. No wonder he can't string a sentence together!
Ed's every waking moment is pure torture!

Hahaha. Yes. He is confusEd out of his tiny mind. World UPSIDE DOWN.

I love how Ed use to nominate Mikkayla week after week and never confront her about the issues he has with her... And now, he's hanging in her gang like best buddies, united by their distrust of Tim and dislike of the cool group!

The most interesting thing about this is that since Caleb and Matthew's eviction, it was "We must protect the last jock guy at all costs!" Suddenly there was a spike in Ed screen time.

I lost count of how many chances BB has given Ed to raise his popularity. But Ed was too dumb to know. All they have left to show are his half finished sentences and the same shots of his torso.

- when he was about to be evicted, he got an emergency date with Jade, and he couldn't even act his part

- Maddie was introduced specifically to make Jade / Ed story more interesting and it was so painful to watch. All Ed had to do was talk about Maddie and the producers will give him all the screen time he wants!

- he could have got the anti Tully crowd on his side if he was more forward with confronting Tully's bad bahaviour

- he could have been actually entertaining when BB gave him a banana man costume

- he was for a while "the strategic guy with cards up his sleeve" but that went nowhere

- he had the opportunity to save Jade from nomination over Tim to advance their love story. Instead shot himself in the foot in the worst way possible.

Ed is slowly but surely going mad. He's not even a prick anymore, he's just nuts. Someone needs to give him a good slap and tell him to snap out of it. He may have some cards but he's not playing with a full deck.

The diagnosis is in: Ed is Tim OBSESSED!

It's no secret that Ed has long been suspicious of Tim's antics, however his paranoia has kicked into overdrive in recent weeks. Tim's 'manipulation' is all he speaks about. It's all he thinks about. And it's starting to drive his fellow Housemates mad.

Ed's convinced that Tim's got a target on his head, and his quick rallying of his 'pride' indicates that it's a battle he's unwilling to fight alone. His warnings to them have been loud and clear:

"Tim's trying to make me look like a bad person," he cautioned House flame Jade on Day 60.

"He's trying to make me look like I'm a bad person; I won't stoop to that level, but he will," he warned Mikkayla.

"If anyone's going to make me look bad, I will fight that till the end," he vowed to Tahan.

"He's trying to point me out and single me out and make me look like an idiot and a bad person," he reminded Jade. Again.

Woah, back it up Ed. He's trying to make you look like what?

Poor Ed never asked for the Prince Charming title, but it's one that he's determined to uphold - particularly where Jade is concerned. His early reluctance to start a romantic relationship in the House was rooted in public perception, and Tim's attempts to steal Jade from underneath him didn't go unnoticed. Ed was sure that Tim was trying to disgrace him by questioning his intentions with the blonde beauty.

The long-seething tension came to a head (or maybe neck) on Day 74 when Ed called Tim to task on making him feel like 'an absolute idiot', but master wordsmith Tim managed to run rings around a bumbling Ed once again. If anything, it only fuelled Ed's fear further.

"It beats Ed up more than it beats me up," a flippant Tim told Madaline the morning after 'the chat'. "He's irrational in his arguments... Whenever we have those moments, it's just all blah blah blah and me trying to find the actual root of the problem and the solution."

Tim maintained that he'd never tried to 'back Ed into a corner', and that he's certainly not out to get him. "I don't want him gone, I just want him to stop being toxic towards me because I'm not doing that to him," Tim explained to Madaline. "I would love to get on with him, but he constantly keeps this list in his head of things I've done wrong or how I've been rude to people in here."

Tim, you've missed the point entirely: Ed just doesn't want to look like a bad person.

Should Ed be more concerned about looking like an obsessed person? Is Tim really to blame, or does Ed give him far too much credit?

from daily wash. I can't believe how obsessed ed is with tim lol.

I no longer care who wins this show.

The only thing I care about is Jade outlasting Ed.

agreed! ed is a sanctimonious jerk. tim is frustrating too. i feel like drew would be much more fun if tim and ed weren't in the house.
