Housemate #2 - Tahan

I laughed at the sisters not being annoying. Fair enough they are nice girls, but imagine living with them? The squealing and the giggles, the over the top nice all the time routine, the blank looks and big smiles, the never go deeper than the surface convos, the dressing alike, the hair extensions everywhere, the mess they are known for... That's annoying after awhile, surely?
They are up there with Tim and Mikkayla for hideously annoying.
Tim is annoying in a good way though.
Ed is the least genuine in my opinion. He tries so hard to be measured and controlled.

I actually think most of them had no idea as to what genuine meant.
Mikkayla certainly didn't.

My opinion of her went down again after the latest episode. She had been so adorable lately, but now she's back to being not so likeable after all.

She thinks she's genuine then goes and lies about who she voted for?

Yeah, that was stupid. Someone should have brought it up to her as for why she couldn't be genuine.

She thinks she's genuine then goes and lies about who she voted for? I don't even care ... I'm mostly annoyed that I wish she understood that being polite and having manners does not make you not genuine. She's just very rude. And has bad taste in people. Likes Justynn? Yeah ...

I want to like her because she has so many good qualities .. but just wish she'd grow up a bit and get some manners.

Everybody tells lies and its not like it harmed anyone.

I hope Tim and Tahan stay as a solid duo all the way to the end now. They make me laugh so much when they are together and Tahan needs a new close friend.

I think she lied for the name of the game... I would! To make it look as if I am united with the HMs..

She was damned either way. If she said she voted for justynn, then I'm sure it would still generate talk in the house.

But I thought she didn't care. That's what I find amusing about it - it's so contradictory to the image she claims for herself (brutally honest & who cares what they think) so I really don't understand why she lied.

She was playing the game. I don't see hey this was even an issue. They nominate weekly and then act like they are best friends with the person they nominate sometimes. I can appreciate the game playing side of it, she has said she was playing hard

I don't care that she lied. I just hate that she lies but then goes on about how honest she is and criticizes other people for being two faced and not being honest enough.

She lied because maybe she doesnt hate Nathan? She liked both intruders so its not like some of the others who only liked 1.

Let say
Your boss wants to hire one person, and you both discuss the applicants. You want person A 1st and B 2nd.
Your boss want person A so Person A get hired, are you going to tell him/her, wow I didnt have you as my 1st choice.
No reason to make your life complicated if it already is.

Brutally honest doesnt mean you should go out there and say every single thought out loud.

The lie was harmless though, I just see it as game playing. I just see it differently I guess

Well said and not because I like Tahan, just because it is true

I agree & have been saying this all along - however, up to this point it has not been a consideration of Tahan's so it's a meaningless analogy where she is concerned. It came as no surprise that she voted Justynn & it's no big deal I would think to anyone - it's only the hypocrisy coming from someone who proclaims brutal honesty at any cost that makes it anything at all. I'm not saying she didn't have her reasons in the moment to lie (though I'm not sure why she really did because I don't think it would make a difference either way), it's the change in tactics that make it significant in my mind - she's maybe starting to understand her old ways weren't helping her so she's decided to play a different game - props to her if this is what it is, but don't expect to not get called out of the apparent hypocrisy & 2-facedness as a result.

If you censor yourself too much it can be a burden. I don't like people who lie just to avoid mildly upsetting someone.

Completely disagree - I didn't initially like Tahan because she didn't care if she upset anyone with what she was saying. I like her more now, but who knows what's real with the edits we get. If she's changed, good for her, maybe she's learnt something.

Maybe for BB 2014 we should have HMs selected from a monastery. Preferably the ones getting near sainthood

Tahan needs to mature emotionally. She acts younger than her age. She seems like a very untrustworthy person that I'd strongly dislike in real life. However she's a liiiiiittle entertaining to watch and she *has* grown on me.
