Perhaps you should pay some attention on how she speaks to Drew.
No, she doesn't.Tully insults Drew all the time but she does it in the way that best friends or a married couple do it. That's why Drew knows not to take it to heart.
No, she doesn't.
She calls him names when he's hidden anything from her or done something she doesn't agree with, did you not see Late Night Feast?
You don't think there's anything wrong with calling someone a 'fuckwit' and 'never telling them anything again' because they didn't confide about some hidden booze?Yes, but my parents who are married do that too and I don't think there's that much wrong with it.

Yeah, that shows your maturity a bit.I thought it was actually quite funny how she was angry at him but also dancing with him. Honestly, I think she knew that being angry was irrational but she didn't know what to do with her anger. It's like when people start crying and then they're laughing because they don't know why they were crying.

Tully is emotionally abusive and it's incredibly damaging - Nothing to be laughed at.
No, that's a copout...you don't speak to someone like that ever and she does it to him, repeatedly. If Drew thinks she's abusive, he doesn't have to be so close to her. IMO, he knows she can be a bit over the top and he accepts that and just goes with it. They're both adults and he doesn't have to put up with it if he doesn't want to.

It's not that simple. A lot of people don't realise they're being abused...or they think they must deserve it.
Plus when she isn't abusing him he's getting a little somethin' somethin'.It's not that simple. A lot of people don't realise they're being abused...or they think they must deserve it.
Mikkayla has made her politics known. She supports the misogynist, conservative catholic Tony Abbott. Any woman who supports Abbott has rocks in her head.![]()

I don't think it's good that Tully insults him a lot, but abuse is a strong word. Lots of people insult their best friends but they don't mean anything by it. They're just angry in the moment and the friends understand that.
It is not exactly the same, but your point here is a little bit like 'Yeah, he hits her and makes her feel like she would be nothing without him, but it is all her fault, because she should leave.' It is not exactly like this, but we are in the same ballpark.
Yes it is abuse. When you words to degrade, belittle & manipulate someone's emotions towards you it is abuse.
