I caught up with a friend today who has known Tully for 15 years and has grown up with her... she is completely horrified at what she is seeing on TV each night. She swears Tully is getting a bad edit, even though I disagree. Interesting that we have such different perspectives, but I suppose we could know different sides of the same girl.
She says that she wouldn't be continue being friends with Tully if she were anything like her BB persona, and it has left a really bad taste in her mouth.. she is totally off her just based on TV!

So is she her friend or not. Is she throwing 15 years of friendship based on a highly edited tv show? If you were truly a friend, u would be more outraged at the editing department not the person imo.

I think she is just confused. I mean, like I said, she feels Tully is getting a bad edit. But I guess her/my point is that the purported bad edit is so effective that is making her forget all the things she likes about Tully and all the many years of friendship they have. If it can be that powerful on someone who has known her more than half her life, then no wonder the public would be so sucked into this. She isn't totally happy with how Tully is acting in there though (mostly with Drew).
For the record, I don't think she is 100% victim of bad editing. I mean, partially yes, but she needs to be held accountable for her own actions...

I agree with this summation. I don't know Tully obviously, I appreciate your point of view and being open to us with how it is affecting people in the real world.
And I don't think anyone would 'throw away' friendship with someone over bad editing. Even with the worst editing in the world, you can't edit IN things that aren't there. It would be a very confusing time for people that do know her and have been friends with her.

If her hair was like this, she'd be much better looking.. but I still don't think her face is very pretty. She's not ugly, but not pretty imo, let alone beautiful. Beautiful is Tahan. Jade is very pretty. Tully is just.. not either of those two things.

Physically probably my teeth, that’s the one thing that I’ve sort of got a bit of a thing about. And personalities-wise, I can be a bit of a jealous person. I think that’s a really unattractive trait... No-one likes a green-eyed monster.
But then...:
... She suggests she is...more mature than maybe other people my age...
So yep, still lacking in the general area of self awareness...
(Feel a bit sorry for the kid though...,in advance of what she is about to face when she gets out)

Well I believe she does know what she is doing now, her jealousy has no boundaries it seems. She is the possessive type and she has stated that she will always get what she wants. I take that as no one will stand in her way therefore it won't matter who she has to tarnish along the way. I can't believe her behaviour

Hahahaha you will have a lifetimes supply. I'd say she has done this before, the only difference it has never been exposed. Who knows who else she has treated this way and the poor person never understood what was going on.

Yeah, isn't she about 25-27? She definitely isn't mature. A lot of 25 year olds act like idiots (this coming from someone who is years younger than 25), but that doesn't mean it's justifiable or the required level of maturity for that age. Tully acts like she's 16.

I think she has probably been too invested for too long in being cool (which Tim spotted immediately) and so doesn't quite know who she is, and in the house her usual persona is not holding together properly. (Unlike Ben's schtick, which is flourishing.) I don't think she's the devil, I think she's immature, selfish, grieving and lost. I do think she's physically attractive but that's not too interesting a quality in a person for me. It's sad she's in pain but people in pain have an unfortunate tendency to inflict their sorrows on others and it's not something others need to accept out of some misguided feeling of pity.

In my work i meet many girls like Tully, I develop a professional relationship with them, Often knowing something is behind this type of behaviour, Often society will cast the "Emo" label at them. But mostly it is some deep event or intra-personal conflict which is behind the person. One girl i worked with was 22 anorexic and totally self destructive. She hated her mum liked her dad. After weeks of chats, It turned out a friend of her mothers had abused her when she was 15, Not saying this has happened to Tully, But she may have had some event behind her facade.
I hope when she does leave BB some support will be there for her.

While there maybe many explanations for her behavior, this still doesn't make it excusable behavior. She has been documented to have a job and according to sources, wanted by many to work for them. So it is apparent she CAN behave with some decorum when necessary.
She seems to wield her power of tantrums and hateful behavior like a pro. Could this be from years of practice!?
