Housemate #5 TULLY!

Why? Because she is a legend, an I know her irl, and How, because she is the coolest.

I can't explain why I like her. I think it's because I have known someone like that irl and their intentions aren't bad, they really don't get it - how they are perceived. I actually think she has a good heart and is more vulnerable than she lets on and just needs to deal with some issues, oneday she will, there is a a beautiful person underneath all that.....we don't know everything about her.....

One of the best housemates ever, fun to watch in the house and fun to watch all the terrible hateful people get themselves worked up about her. A lovely person with imperfections like everyone else on the planet, some people need someone to hate though I suppose.

One of the best? You obviously haven't watched Big Brother pre-Nine. If you did then hand me a gun please so I can shoot myself.

I wonder if the producers predicted the Drully thing to an extent? I know they make deductions about who will be friends and who won't be, even if they don't always prove to be correct, but surely they never expected this? Worked out well for ratings and a talking point... too bad there are actual people involved.

oh God no, drew could have had anyone (except jade it turns out) and i don't think anyone would suspect tully would be the one. Her intro made her sound cool but within 24 hours we all knew that wasn't the truth....i thought drew would be stronger emotionally, he's so cool, calm and collected i thought he'd have backbone, but he becomes everyones bitch so easily....

that being said i'm sure they are both great in the real world...but putting them in a glass house and being able to watch how people operate kinda brings out true colours. BB would have never predicted those two.

Agreed! No one could have predicted this train wreck that is Drully. Drew was most likely intended for Jade but she chose not to pursue Drew because of her obsession with Ed and the fact that Drew reminds her of her ex. Tully described herself as a lesbian in a steady relationship. No way could the producers have predicted that she would cheat with Drew of all people.

I've just seen the latest live feed update with Tully asking Drew what are they going to do with each other when they get out of there and how she thinks drew is so amazing and I really can't believe what I'm seeing.

I'm beginning to think Tully has serious psych issues. How were all her issues not vetted before her going in? How does she think this behaviour is ok when she still talks of her gf on the outside? I'm thinking her family or bb need to step in as her or this thing with drew is bordering on insane.

What about Drew too? I feel so sad for him - shes gone and done something to him bad. He doesn't know who he is anymore. He's like in a trance with her as his master. She's gotta get out of there ASAP, just so he has a chance to snap out of it. I really hope Tully goes this Monday, but I fear it's not going to happen. Too many people think shes worth saving. I once worshipped at the Tully shrine, but I have now seen the error of my ways.

I was absolutely flabbergasted when I read that! It's like her relationship with her (ex) girlfriend never happened!

I just wonder what Genius on the BB staff thinks that the emotional abuse and the exploitation of mental illness is worthy of viewing pleasure... then I think back regarding reality tv. It's like the time on Survivor, the guy passes out over the fire and the camera man just keeps taping and doesn't try to help... I guess it's all for ratings. I would never want my daughter to act like the person in question and would probably injure a girl who treated my son in such a fashion. This behavior is touching most people (I exclude the TTs) in a horrific fashion as many posters seem to be rattled recalling awful life experiences of domestic abuse, emotional abuse and volatile unhealthy relationships.

My biggest fear, is that young ladies/girls, may see this person and this behavior something they can reflect and latch onto as the "get what they want when they want it" behavior and IMO that is the MOST FRIGHTENING potential with this HM being in the forefront of the show.

I've been thinking.

Like, I don't check up on the site constantly or anything so I don't know how it was developing but Tully and Drew haven't acted particularly coupley (or, no more so than they were) since the Thing in the bedroom, right? Tully has still been talking about her (ex)girlfriend and about how she loves her etc.

What if actually nothing happened in the bedroom? I mean, you'd think if they had made out under the covers (it sounded that way) that the next day or later on Tully would have been crying in the Diary Room about it. Like she cries about everything else. Or what if it was on the night of the Feast, and they had been suitably drunk and not really sure about what they were doing or saying? Tully says she loves everyone all the time, and obviously they wouldn't actually be In Love after knowing each other for such a short time, Drew seems like a more reasonable fellow than that.

I feel like this may look worse than it actually is.

And I was also thinking, how fucking awkward would it be if nothing really went on and Tully had been planning to do something like Ben from last year and propose to her girlfriend when she got evicted or won? Oops.

To feel guilt or regret one must actually have a soul or some moral compass. IT appears to have neither.

Every time you type IT I have visions of Tully leaning over a basement pit, little fluffy white dog in hand, looking down at Drew saying "It takes the lotion from the basket"...aka Silence of the Lambs.

I think what we saw that night and the lead up to the kiss under the doona was probably it....they snuck under the doona have a quick kiss and Tully said I love You again. BB didnt show them continuing and I think with the other housemates awake and lights on that they would be gossiping about that night. I think it was more like the night before eviction when Tully thought that she was going home, not when they were drunk.
Tully does still hug, kiss and throw the love word around the others as well but she is far too affectionate/controlling for someone in a relationship but has told the HM's that her (ex)GF would be fine with it, and still considers herself to be with Tahlia.

Tully is delusional and as such would justify the kiss under the doona anyway. Or flat out deny that it ever happened. I think the latter is more feasible. I legitimately think she is under the impression that the kissing wasn't shown because it was (most likely) quick and they were covered. Ergo, to have a cry in the DR about it would only be confessing to a sin she actively tried to hide thereby outing herself so to speak. Take note, that entire eviction week after her crying about her girlfriend Tully and Drew made a lot of nonverbal communication. She thinks she is being subtle. Tully cannot do subtle.

From what I've seen, reason doesn't apply to these two. And to your last suggestion, if you read the night ending update from the Live Feed, I'd say the mere notion of that happening is laughable.

Is this his plan to play the submissive, brow beaten man to get her evicted????? She is also obsessive and draining and he wants her gone?

What stuns me is that I don't think this group of people that are working like crazy to save her actually realise that by keeping her in the house they're actually doing more and more damage to her. She's going to have so much shit waiting for her on the outside, and it's just going to get more severe the longer she's in there because she just keeps getting worse. She is not together enough to deal with it, and they're just setting her up to have an even greater fall.

I'm also not sure if this Twitter group aimed at saving her actually like her or are now just banding together to save her so they can "win" so to speak. I'm not saying this is the case for everyone obviously. I know some fans genuinely like her, but the comments I'm reading on Twitter make it seem like they care less about Tully and more about their vendetta to push her through. Which I guess makes sense because I can't see anyone who genuinely likes Tully wanting her to stay in the house and keep doing more damage to herself and others.

On one lesbian forum from day 1 some people predicted that she's fake lesbian and will cheat with a man. Of course their voice was shunned, but later someone brought quotations from her Tumblr and lesbian site she has account on, which showed that she identifies as both lesbian and bisexual and that she's into men. Which didn't mean that just because she's bi then must cheat with a man, but unfortunately it turned out that first predictions were spot on.

BTW, it's truly terrible how she reinforces damaging myths about lesbians (that "they just have to meet a right man" - that's the reason why I personally think that you shouldn't identify as lesbian if you're at all into men as well), and for those within LGBT community - about bisexuals, that ultimately (in case of bi women) they'll cheat on you with a man.
