I like how Stacy tries to play the "wacky, fun, chick", but fails miserably.
 
this is supposed to be an appreciation thread, i think shes doing well for being on national tv i am sure most of you wouldnt last, especially listening to all this bad shit you are all saying about everyone...and you call stacey and ben a bully biggest lol ever

It's because it doesn't seem really genuine. Like she picked it out and has just committed to it to shield her real self. With no real person behind it, it fails.

BB made a comment about the elephant being the most intelligent animal, and Estelle laughed. Stacey said "yeah, we're laughing too".

I agree with you completely. I said in another thread somewhere that her off-the-cuff one-liners are funny, but when she's "in character" and doing pre-fab skits she just isn't funny at all. People who have to try hard to be funny aren't funny at all. Her "humour" is starting to remind me of Joel from '07 - stupid totally non-funny characters etc and his "humour" was the reason I disliked him immensely.
 
Here's one for all the Michael haters. Just not so much if you're also wearing an anti-Stacca hat, which I gather describes most of the Michael hate club.

Ava reads her question at the dinner table (DS ep#40) asking of HMs what lessons have been learned.

Michael: Today I've learned that I can be a bit of an arse sometimes, without reason.

Stacey: (enthusiastically) Yeah.

She comes out with it like Michael's self criticism was something she's thought for ages and had been waiting forever to hear acknowledged. Oh well. It made me laugh.

I'm liking Stacey again. There was a period at the start when I thought she was the best. Then I didn't like some of the stuff Ben was doing, and I felt it was rubbing off onto Stacey, but now I have come around to liking both Ben and Stacey quite a bit.

It seems she's probably the one who is getting along best with Delilah too! They've even got a piece on the bb site about that:

If anyone is playing up to the cameras it would have to be Stacey, she may be wanting to get into comedy, just a thought.... she is full on with her character that she has played out for BB.

Wonder what Stacey is like when not jumping around and doing weird, irritating, loud voices.
Imagine her workplace or going out for dinner.... she just couldn't be the Stacey we see.

No doubt she can be funny at times but then don't call others Meepers while Meeping yourself.
 
Reading through her friends' and family's posts on Facebook and Twitter, she sounds like she's the life of the party on the outside too.

Good luck Stacey fans! Here's hoping both Ben and Stacey are safe. They need each other to survive.

I might send some save votes to Stacey.
