# 2 son stayed up to watch it, was 100 times worse to get out of bed this morning. What a great achievement! And I'm glad his eyeballs didn't pop out.

Whats Geelong like? compared to living in outer suburbs of any other city.

its 1 hr out of melbs but seems more developed than our equivalent of Mandurah.
 
Arrived late so in catch up mode, just quick observation, angie has a cluster of freckles/moles on her forehead and ironically they are in the shape of the southern cross... JUST SAYIN! ok watch and catch up soon!!

No the motel was much further south and the sign has been relotated as part of the history of the coast but there is a bar and grill now.

The old pink poodle was a "motel" and had mirrors over the beds lol so it was um progressive :)
 
Oh yes! I had heard about the "shagging" motel!!

Years back on a family trip we drove past & my older sister who was 18ish at the time (I was 10 or so) said that she was going to go there & dad was NOT impressed! I just remember dad fuming & not knowing exactly why, & that that big pink poodle sign had something to do with it!
