Day 62

9.40pm – FNL has finished and the housemates are getting ready to have a party night.

There are three boys in the reward room tonight (Dean and the Logans) so for the first time back outside the girls are outnumbering the boys. Christie feels good about, and Kate agrees screaming “I KNOW!”. Hotdogs says the only way the girls have power over the boys is because they scream over the top of the boys. Meanwhile in the rewards room the boys are toasting to their luxury time. Greg gives it 25 minutes before the girls go quiet. But that doesn’t look likely: they are all screaming and shouting and Vesna is up on the kitchen bench stomping. Tim has his arms up in the air as if it’s a tribal celebration. David is now looking through DVDs, and Dean comments he couldn’t be outside in the middle of the screaming.

In the kitchen talk turns to Vesna and Hotdogs. HD sarcastically says “she played me for a fool, now I know what she’s about I just can’t get away from her”. Tim talks about how Vesna is a comedian, he is obviously drunk. He adds that Vesna and Hotdogs are a perfect couple, but Hotdogs doesn’t think so. Vesna says “you’re so in denial, you’re so in denial”. Hotdogs gets serious now and says “I would never go out with a woman that whinges as much as you do”. “I could not stand going out with a girl that when you go out and there’s a group of guys she needs all the attention on her from all the guys.. that sickens me”. Vesna says she is not like that. Hotdogs has been living with her and he knows her, he says. But Vesna explains that they are in a plastic bubble and it’s not real “everything around his is plastic, look, plastic plastic plastic plastic plastic plastic!”.

In the bedroom Kate, Christie and Melanie are trying on each other’s underwear. With Kate away from the main group, Rita quesitons Tim about his “undying love of Kate”. He likes her but knows she doesn’t like him back. Hotdogs says Tim follows her around like a puppydog. Vesna wants to know the other side of the story and screams for Kate to come. But it’s too late: Rita goes back to the bedroom and relays what Tim said to Kate. Kate already knows this and confirms it, but she does feel back because it’s geniune feelings for her, not just a physical attraction thing. Kate brags that it happens all the time to her, even though she doesn’t lead anyone on. In the kitchen Tim tells Vesna to stop persuing Hotdogs.

Kate is wearing Christie’s underwear but with a towel wrapped around her. She is standing by the stove and Tim says that she should be wearing such flammable fabric near an open flame in an attempt to get her to drop the towel. She eventually does and the rest of the group cheer, except Hotdogs who has left the room. Tim says “you are the most amazingly attractive woman I have come across”.. and then to Vesna “she’s so hot”. He accidentally grated his hands on the cheese grater while looking at Kate. Hotdogs comes over and hugs Kate while she wears her towel. Vesna watches on as the two playfully flirt with each other.

BREAK

10.47pm – Hotdogs knows he’s going on Sunday. He is being punished by god by having to spend time with all the girls. Things get heated between him and Vesna and she screams “I can’t tolerate you anymore, you’ve turned into this thing.. that has rose from the dead”. Hotdogs leaves the dining table, but Vesna follows and asks “why do you hate me?”. Hotdogs keeps blocking her. He says “you repulse me Ves”. She teases and annoys him. Hotdogs can’t stand living with the 5 girls over the weekend. Vesna asks “what about this” and starts doing a silly stripper-type dance in the kitchen. Hotdogs says “oh save me god, please”, and screams “IT’S A PERSONAL CHALLENGE ISN’T IT!?”. Vesna lies down ontop of Hotdogs on the floor and he screams that his back hurts. Tim decides to climp on top of Vesna and says “I need you Hotdogs”. Rita joins in ontop of Tim in a huge human pile. Hotdogs screams “I have 180 kilos on me get off!”. They are all laughs, except Hotdogs.In the rewards room Dean explains Vesna thinks David likes her. The Logans laugh about it.

Hotdogs goes to the diary room. “It’s going to be a very testing weekend for me, I don’t know how I’m going to survive. I’m stuck with five females, they are mad and ooh… this is the hardest thing.. hopefully tomorrow from the point that we wake up we cling because I’m not going to be able to survive it. If I go on Sunday it will be my escape because I’m in purgatory at the moment. At the moment it’s a nuthouse and I can’t stand it… I’m in pain”.

In the bedroom Melanie explains the Big Brother house is a timebomb for thinkers. She has watched people’s behaviors in the house: She obvserved dominant people: Dean. The house has totally changed now that he’s away from the house tonight. Everyone else is really comfortable. Melanie has really gotten to like him, though. Hotdogs is in bed with Vesna and explains people are assuming there is something going on between them. Vesna doesn’t think so. Once they sort it out Hotdogs says Ves can go to bed now, but she doesn’t move. Instead she asks Hotdogs if he likes Mel. He laughs crazily and doesn’t answer.

Day 63

9.27am – The housemates are woken to begin their cleaning shift. They have an hour. The reward room boys emerge first in their underwear to find the house has been completely littered all over by Big Brother. Rita laughs when she sees the mess. There is rubbish everywhere: even at the bottom of the pool. The housemates get cleaning: most of the boys work outside. Girls do the living room while Hotdogs is doing the Kitchen. Big Brother annouces they have 30 minutes left. There is a problem outside where a lot of the cubes of foam are stuck in the grass and have to be pulled out by hand. BB annouces they have 10 minutes left. Dean eventually gets the paint cans at the bottom of the pool. When time is up the HMs all change back into their normal clothes. Everything looks pretty clean.

Emerging from the pool Christie flashes the other girls, who are all sunbathing. They agree it’s nice and relaxing having all the girls together – who cares what the boys are doing. The reward boys are in the reward room, commenting on “poor Hotdogs”. Dean says if he wins next week he will return the favour to the Logans, and Hotdog will miss out again. Back in the living room Tim explains Dean’s threats towards him after he revealed the “reverse kanga” prank. This is the first Vesna has heard of it. Tim explains “this is a person who has such a big ego that he cannot interpret a set of events without seeing him at the very centre”. Hotdogs and Melanie are listening in. Vesna comments that Hotdog’s liking of Dean is due to his insecurities. They start bickering again. He says “every time I talk to you, you always jump down my throat”. Vesna says Hotdogs has very poor judgement of people. He replies “the one person who you take your anger out in this house is me…”. He ends up leaving the kitchen, and there is ackwardness in the kitchen.

BREAK

2.40pm – The reward boys are all doing weights together. Vesna comes to see Hotdogs, who has made the bedroom his sanctuary. They both reiterate their points from the earlier argument. Vesna is mad because Hotdogs rates people. They start raising their voices at each other. HDs says she is the most insecure person on earth. Vesna says as soon as he is with the boys he changes and doesn’t care about her. Hotdogs says:

“The simplest thing for me to say is: I don’t like you. I don’t like you as a person, and I don’t care for you. So fuck off and don’t talk to me”.

Vesna storms out of the room and starts tending to tonight’s cooking. Outside Christie and Tim watch the boys work out. When asks who has the biggest muscles, Tim says Greg does. “Dean looks muscley but he just has a big frame and that big chest that sticks out like a barrel”. Tim adds he doesn’t have the frame for muscles – it’s so hard to put on weight for him. Chrisitie is fixated by the boy’s muscles “you can just see them all move… look at that… oh… see thats hot”. Melanie is called to feed the animals. HMs are called to feed the animals. Rita takes the alpaca. Christie comments that Rita does not shut up. Hotdogs and the rest of the boys agree. Hotdogs takes the opportunity to bitch about Rita and the rest of the girls. Dean joins in. They high-five.

BREAK

4.56pm – The wall in the bedroom has been removed and some beds are also gone. They all try to organise the new sleeping arrangements. Big Brother annouces the results of the weekly task: they have passed. They have 288 dollars to spend on next week’s budget. The boys comment they should have bet 100%, and go outside to do weights. Hotdogs goes to see Vesna and she wants him to make up his mind: either he likes her or not. Hotdogs tries to avoid the question and two start discussing the same things they did before. Eventually they hug and Hotdogs says he’s sorry.

8.26pm – The rewards room boys are having pizza in the rewards room. Back in the living room Mel says it’s great to have all this girl time. Hotdogs sarcastically says he loves it, but in all seriousness it’s nice and calm in there.

BREAK

7.54pm – Christie comes to the diary room. She explains with Dean, Greg and David in the rewards room she has realised how close she was to them. She isn’t really partnered up with any of housemates and she’s drifting between people right now. Despite this “its going well”.

Later Vesna bangs on the reward room door and then runs away. David answers the door and Kate says “it was your girlfriend”. David collects up a whole bunch of cushions to throw on her. He jumps on her in bed and she screams and laughs.

Back in the rewards room Greg asks Dean “who’s a better standard, the blokes or the chicks”. Unsurprisingly Dean says “the gentlemen”, and goes on to justify his answer – the boys take pride in…. (he trails off). He says there is a whole buffet of boys in here, and it’s driving the girls crazy in lust. David is swatting imaginary fruit flies on Vesna’s head. She tells him to shift from the area. Dean tells Greg that Rita has a thing for her. Greg doesn’t want to hear that. Once again Rita is nervous about going. Christie says “everything will be fine”.

9:07am: Christie is leading the Yoga session this morning. Dean asks whose idea it was to let Christie lead the class. Christie tells them to take themselves to a place they’ve always dreamed of. Big Brother announces that the yoga session is over. Christie tells them Kate can instruct the class tomorrow. Hotdogs again enjoyed it, saying he was in a ‘different state.’ Inside, it’s time for the morning glass of green juice. While waiting to receive his, Dean is told by Tim to come outside when he gets a second as Tim wants to chat. Dean drowns his drink and joins Tim outside, in the sun. Tim says he wants to speak about the reverse kanga incident again, saying that when Dean approached him yesterday he thought that Dean was joking. Tim says that it’s obviously a live issue in his mind. Tim rejects the motion that he was trying to make Dean look bad and in effect, make Dean a target in nominations. He says that he felt he had more to lose by the double crossing becoming common knowledge. Dean says he doesn’t see the logic in it at all. Tim goes onto say that Dean does everything his own way, he never bites his tounge, he is rude to people consistently, he’s dominating. He explains to Dean that the weekend he (Dean) was in the reward room Tim did some weights with the Logan boys. He says he was very suprised at how differently the boys acted without Dean around. He says that by Dean not being there, the Logan boys got to take the spotlight and shine. He says that Dean has crocodile tears, saying that his ego is perhaps the size of Europe. Dean says that Tim is highly intelligent, and everything he does he has a desired result for. Tim fires back saying “I fell sorry for you that you live in such a paranoid little world.” Tim mentions the ego again, and Dean stops him saying he is listening to same thing. Tim says that Dean isn’t giving him anything new to work with. Dean says that he isn’t going to sit there and pat his back when he doesn’t like him. Tim says that he thinks Dean should go away and think clearly about the points that were raised in this discussion, and secondly, to keep it civilised in front of the other housemates. Dean agrees, and they head inside.

11:44am: BB announces that Rita, Logans, Kate & Vesna must start their cleaning shift now. Kate says they should team up and organise exactly what they are doing. Outside relaxing, Christie is saying that the day, and life, is beautiful. She says the day has been great so far. She says while she is sunbaking, the cleaners are cleaning her house. Cut to Vesna cleaning the bedroom, and Logan David cleaning the bathroom. Christie asks Hotdogs how he is feeling being nominated. He says he was a bit funny on Monday, Tuesday he was 50/50 but from Wednesday onwards he’s been sweet. He says that Dean and himself are the usual suspects. He says that because they speak their mind they have a good fanbase. Christie says she doesn’t think that he is going. Dogs doesn’t think so either. Kate, cleaning the step in the bedroom, makes mention that a product she is using really works.

1:21pm: Dean comes and joins Christie sunbaking. Christie asks him about the conversation with Tim earlier. Dean says that he just put his point across and defended himself. He goes onto say that Tim thought he had a massive ego. Christie doesn’t think he has an ego, “I haven’t seen it.” He says that Tim said that people think he’s aggressive. He says that he wants nothing to do with the guy but will be pleasant to him. Dean goes onto say that Tim has tried to make him look like the bed guy, and that people will probably believe him. Christie says they won’t, saying he’s done nothing wrong. He mentions again that Tim reckons people think he is aggressive, and asks Christie to find out because he wants to know if Tim is lying. Christie accepts the challenge and endeavours to find out. Dean says that Tim has everyone where he wants them. Christie says “What an A-Hole.”

7:18pm: All housemates are eating dinner. Hotdogs says that it hasn’t been a bad week on staples because they’ve had leftover spices to go with the staples this week. He says if they lose the task, then next week will be bad. Kate says when they are on staples, it makes the reward room so much better. Hotdogs agrees. Rita asks anyone to take her in if they win. Dave says that Vesna has been complaining about so they should take her. Vesna says ok. Dean says whoever wins can take whoever they want. The boys ask Vesna who she would take in. Dave says that she would not take a man in. Vesna says if they haven’t been then she would. Dave says that is easy to say as they’ve all been. Hotdogs tells her not to lie. Vesna says “Who said I’m lying.” Vesna tells him to not talk to her, saying why don’t you write a book about it. Hotdogs says he wouldn’t write a book about her because no one would buy it. Vesna again tells him to stop it. Dogs chips in “No I won’t stop it.” He tries to mimic Vesna saying “I’m not going to stop it.” Christie starts laughing, saying she didn’t mean to laugh, but it’s funny. Dogs says it’s very funny. Vesna has a deep breath. She starts talking and Dogs says “Go on, whinge some more.” Dogs keeps saying “Just stop it” and Vesna says “where do you get off.” She leaves the table and as she rounds the corner towards the bedroom shouts loudly “Just shutup.” Dogs laughs. Vesna lies on her bed. Greg sticks up for her out at the table saying he can see her point with three of them having a crack at her. Dean says who sticks up for her the most for. Hotdogs says he does. Dave says she would find something to whinge about in the reward room. He says if he wins he would go up to Vesna and say “I’m not picking you…” Vesna is crying on her bed. Rita comes in and tells her not to worry about it as they are just stiring her up. Rita says that Vesna handled herself very well. Rita says they are just like Big Brothers. Vesna says she can usually take it. Rita leaves. Later, Hotdogs enters the room. He lies beside her for a bit, hearing her crying. Vesna says “You stir me up”. Hotdogs replies saying “I stir you up because you talk nonsense.” Vesna says she feels that a lot of people get pleasure out of stiring her up. Dogs thinks that Vesna thinks that everyone is always talking about her when they aren’t. Big Brother interrupts, telling her she is lying on her microphone and that is a $5,000 fine. She screams “No I’m not.” Hotdogs starts laughing his head off as Vesna keeps yelling. They have a cuddle as Vesna says that BB is starting to ruin her life.

9:13pm: Dean and Vesna are on the couch. Dean says “It’s bad people pick on you and it won’t happen again.” He gives a look as if to say yeh right. Vesna says “Yeh whatever Dean.” Dogs and Christie are also there. Christie says that Ves would be bored without it. Dean agrees. Dean says that Ves loves it as much as you hate it. Ves says sometimes she hates it, like before. Dean says when she said she didn’t like “Fat Momma” they stopped using it. Ves says they are giving her a complex, and in a few months she’ll be in NewIdea and saying she is down to 25kgs. Dave says she would be dead. Dean jokes “Yeh, I’d take you out then.” Greg and Tim are talking about the boys battle with Ves, saying it’s forever changing. Tim says that perhaps they love each other. Tim says she is an absolute comedian, saying he has only realised it in the last week. Tim says it’s obvious that she finds the Logan’s and Dean attractive. Greg says no one wants a bar of her. Tim thinks that Ves wants them to be attracted to her. Greg says she said the other night that she had never been knocked back before. Back inside, Dogs says “It’s refreshing to hear you whinge.” Dean and Dogs launch into a routine where they mimic all the stuff that Vesna has said. Vesna says they are liers, she never said that.

10:44pm: Kate pleads with Tim for him to get some sunscreen and rub it in her face. She ends with “Please darling Tim who I love very much.” Tim says he isn’t an object, he’s a human with feelings. He says sometimes Kate is a hugely attractive person and other times….” Kate finishes it by suggesting she is “a naughty little kid who needs their mummy to rub Vics on their chest.” Tim says he wouldn’t have said that. He is done, and Kate asks for a kiss on the forehead, saying “Your my mum for the night.” Tim says “Thanks, that makes me feel real sexy.” Tim gives her a kiss and says goodnight. Hotdogs appears in the room and Kate says that he used to give her a kiss and hug everynight and he hasn’t for a very long time. He jumps onto the bed and gives her a kiss and a hug. Meanwhile, over on Tim’s bed, Rita tells him that he has the hots for Kate. She says it’s obvious the way he looks at her and how his whole face lights up. Rita asks if he has told her. He says he did, and she didn’t say anything really. Dogs jumps onto Tim’s bed and gives Rita a hug now. In the other room, Mel says she is finally going to bed. Back to Tim, who is now back on Kate’s bed. He asks if he can hug her. She says she would like that. She says “You can hug me but you can’t sleep here.” Tim thanks her for setting out the ground rules. Kate starts to drift asleep as Tim spoons his girl.

9:09am – Lights come on in both bedrooms as Big Brother announces it’s time for Yoga. Vesna tells everyone to get up. Vesna leads the Yoga class, which sees them all sitting there saying nothing before BB tells them the Yoga session is over. Hotdogs says it was excellent, the most fun he has had since yesterday. Christie has come to the diary room to give BB her task required confession for the day. She tells BB that she really wants Kate to leave this Sunday. “I don’t like her.” Christie says that both Hotdogs and Vesna aren’t going to go. BB says she should try to resolve her issues with Kate. Christie says she has tried, but refers to Kate as “the type of girl I hate”. After Christie leaves, Big Brother tells the first cleaning group that their shift starts now. We see the cleaners getting into their uniforms, before moving outside where Christie, Dean & Hotdogs are sunbaking. Christie wants Dean to explain what happened between himself and Tim yesterday. Dean wonders where Tim is, and Christie assures him that he is inside and she can see when he is coming. Dean says that Tim didn’t think he did anything wrong. Dean goes onto say that they probably don’t like each other very much at all, but Dean makes a point by saying that he’ll continue to be nice to him. He says he just wanted to get his point across. He also makes the point that he wouldn’t trust Tim as far as he could chuck him. Tim comes out and stands at the outside doors, and Hotdogs cheekily says “I second that.” Tim gathers a beanbag and joins the three sunbaking. Inside, Greg & kate are in the kitchen cleaning. Kate says that she is sorry about the whole Christie thing. She says she was angry and upset that it all came out. Greg says that it’s one of the things that they’ll sit back and have a good laugh about it one day. Kate says that from her point of view it’s not funny though.

12:03pm – Christie is making bread for the first time in her nine week stay in the house. She asks Vesna where the instructions are to make the bread. Vesna asks who her assistant is. She calls out to Tim saying she needs his help. Tim asks if the ingredients are mixed, to which Christie tells him that she has to make three loaves. Tim tells her to get it all mixed and he’ll be in to knead it all. He tells Hotdogs “thats how you assist.” Back in the kitchen, Vesna tells Christie that she has to stop being lazy. She says “Shutup.” She says she is not lazy, she just gets bored easily and needs someone to talk to while she makes it. She then gets into a bad mood by saying “If you think I’m a whinger, go for it” and “really doesn’t bother me Vesna.” Vesna says she wasn’t really calling her anything and wonders why she got so offended. Dean comes to the diary room for his confession. He says he has thoughts of resentment towards Tim. He says that he thinks he is sly and sneaky. He says the whole way Tim tried to ratonalise the things he did doesn’t sit well with him. As soon as Dean leaves the diary room Big Brother tells the cleaners that their shift is over, calls everyone to the couch, and finally Mel to the diary room. Mel takes a glove that BB has given her and returns to the house and has to run it along whatever BB tells her to touch. BB tells Mel to inspect the top of the glass barrier next to the bathroom. Tim says he did that. Mel comes back and says it’s a bit dirty. BB then tells her to wipe her hand on the floor under the fridge. Vesna says she did that. Dave reckons he did it too. Vesna gets worked up, and Dean says “Your an angry woman.” Vesna fires back “It’s because you think I do nothing.” Mel comes back to the diary room and leaves the glove for BB to inspect.

1:57pm – Big Brother announces that the second cleaning group must now start their shift. Mel says she needs to goes outside to get her cleaning instrument. Christie can’t believe they have to clean straight after the other group, saying “What are we going to clean?!”. Dean tells her the house, and then goes onto suggest perhaps outside. The non cleaning group sunbake outside, but Vesna is yelling at the bird to shut it up. Dave suggests she sit back and wonder at the nature. Vesna says she likes it occassionally, but not when the bird just continues to chirp. Cleaning group decide to clean the bedroom first. Christie walks outside and washes down the concrete. Vesna says “Thats it, watch it grow!” Back in the bedroom, Dean tells the others that Christie is washing the concrete. Tim says it’s laziness. Dean suggests getting her to fold all the clothes away. The other boys tell him to go and get her. Dean goes outside and asks her to come inside and give them a hand. She says she wants to hose down first. Dean asks again and she comes in. Dean says “Hosing down the concrete…you lazy f***” Vesna laughs, and Christie responds with a barrage of swearing to Dean who is not happy she has been called lazy. Dean tells her not to get angry. Now in the bedroom, she goes out again to clear her mind. Dean tells the others that she was hosing sand. Back outside, Vesna says “Poor Christie, she hates this.” As the group finish their cleaning, Dean pats Tim on the bum, and Tim says “I prefer my smacks a bit softer than that.”

5:44pm – Kate & Mel are in the sauna talking about Kate & Christie’s friendship. Kate thinks that Christie will remain distant. Kate says she thinks she is 100% right. Kate thinks she held back a lot and probably should have told her exactly what she thought, but Kate decided against it because she thinks Christie couldn’t handle it. Mel says that Christie might feel satisifed by the story she gave. Outside Christie says she is going to ignore Kate. She doesn’t want to get distant from Greg. She asks Rita, also in the spa, if she has talked to Kate. Back in the sauna, Mel wonders if they could become friends again. Kate thinks that Christie has decided there is no point so why bother. They get out of the spa.

8:19pm – BB announces that the bowling alley is open. Rita is excited and gets up from lying on the bed. Vesna doesn’t want to go, she hates bowling. While others enjoy the bowling, Dean, Christie and Vesna have a spa. Dean asks Vesna about the new housemates. Ves says she likes them both. Christie says she isn’t much of a fan of Mel. She says she thinks she is boring. Vesna finally agrees that she isn’t as outgoing as most in here. Christie says she doesn’t think she will ever get to know Mel. She says there is nothing wrong with honesty. Inside, Hotdogs is talking to Mel saying that he thinks they have fitted in really well. Mel says it’s hard to come into a place where friendships are already in place. Christie says that she likes Rita, but doesn’t think anyone can be happy 24/7. She again says she finds Mel boring. Dean says she is like Kate. Christie agrees, saying she doesn’t like Kate, and so she doesn’t want to get to know her. Mel is saying to Dogs that it is ok to be the person who she is. She says she doesn’t like taking her clothes off, and even though she is the only one, she is fine with that. Hotdogs removes an eyelash from her face and she blows a wish.

12:35am – Rita comes to the bathroom to say goodnight to Dean and Dave. She gives them both big hugs. In the bedroom, Mel is saying to Kate that she thinks it’s weird to be classified as a housemate now. Kate says it is a big thing. She says she is going to bed.
