Day 80

7.21am – Melanie is up walking the alpacas, and Greg is giving her a hand with feeding them. Melanie has some trouble with the alpaca’s walking rope. She is scared to unhook it’s lead without the alpaca spitting at her. The two go back into the house once all the animals are fed. As they enter the bedroom BB turns on the lights and announces the hot water is now on. Vesna complains BB puts the lights on so bloody early. She says its like a concentration camp. Later the housemates have a morning shower. As soon as Vesna walks into the shower BB annouces the hot water is now off. Vesna screams at the top of her lungs “no!”. She then says a string of complaints, including that Big Brother is crazy. Meanwhile Tim is making the beds as part of his weekly chores. He is making an effort of doing it perfectly. Big Brother annouces it is time to write scene two of their movie for the weekly task. Kate, still in a towel, fetches the whiteboard from the diary room. Tim is finishing up with the beds now and just wants to get the last one done before they begin work on the movie. Kate gives him a hand. Meanwhile Vesna is telling Greg about how she hates Big Brother – he confuses her – he’s nice one minute and mean the next. Greg doesn’t seem to care.

BREAK

9.53am – Big Brother has supplied a camera and costumes for the task. Greg annouces they have an hour to practice their lines. BB has also typed up the script to make it easier for the housemates. Vesna goes through the costumes and fabric supplied. She likes a lot of whats included. Tim is confused about one of the characters – Steve. Later Melanie is in her costume. BB annouces the housemates must perform lines in an American accent. Scene 1, Take 6 begins. Greg says “lights, camera, and action”. This scene involves Melanie and Kate talking about a woman outside. They over-act at every chance and lay on the thick American accents. Kate sneaks in the “I don’t give a damn”. Steve, played by Tim, sneaks the line “whats a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?”. Greg cuts the scene when everyone is finished. Tim says the girls were so good at memorising their lines – he also says they are good actors (hah!). Greg says it was very funny. Tim is excited at how well the script has come. They go outside and Scene 1, Take 11 takes place. Kate’s character is having a fight with Tim’s character, and he throws Kate’s character’s diary to one side. The scene ends. BB announces “thats a wrap”.

BREAK

3.33pm – Tim and Kate are outside and she asks if he’s lost weight. Vesna says he is. Kate says he’s put on muscle but he’s so skinny now. Tim says he looked at himself side on in the mirror and realised he is so thin, like paper, compared to the other boys. Tim says you need to accept your body’s limitations. He says he is comfortable with his body – he knows what body fashion is, and it’s 15kg and 3 or so inches bigger than what he is. Kate doesn’t want to be a stick figure. Tim says body fashion changes with time. Kate says if they start putting between 12 and 14 sized women in magazines it could change the trend.

5.09pm – Tim is asking Kate about a possible early dinner. Vesna says they want to go to bed early tonight. Kate says she will get on it. Vesna says she’s afraid they won’t eat tonight, to Tim and Melanie in the bedroom. Vesna says when she cooks she doesn’t talk to anyone – right now Greg is distracting Kate. The two are laughing about Greg knocking his funny bone in his elbow. In the bedroom Melanie is afraid she is being pesimistic because she’s so tired and she has a lack of stimulation in the house. Nothing in the house resembles her life. Vesna tells Tim to tell Kate to hurry up with dinner and “stop pussyfooting around”. Tim leaves them and asks Kate if she wants some assistance. Melanie says if she has to stay another week she doesn’t know what she’d do – she thinks she’d go insane. She wouldn’t be able to survive 3 months in here – “no way!”. Vesna calls Kate into the bedroom. Kate says “how can I assist you?”. Vesna asks what they are having for dinner – tunabake. Vesna says Kate can go now that she knows whats for dinner. She has orange peel in her mouth and Kate comments Vesna’s smile is looking very beautiful: “please send me the number of your dentist”.

BREAK

6.21pm – Melanie is jogging around the backyard, much to the surprise of Vesna. Vesna dips some bread into Kate’s cooking and eats it. Vesna exclaims “Mel is still running, and I farted”. Big Brother calls Vesna to the diary room. Vesna realises what she has done, gasps and says “I’m so sorry”. Kate says its alright, she says she will just make another one. In the diary room Vesna says “yes I know what I did”. She says she wasn’t thinking in tasting the tomato sauce. BB tells her to collect the sauce and bring it back to the diary room. Vesna says “do you have to do this?”. She goes and collects the sauce, and says she is so sorry “what is wrong with me? what the hell… what is he going to do with it, throw it in the bin isnt he?”.

10.39pm – Tim is sweeping up the kitchen. Kate is now outside doing laps. Greg is lying on a bed, acting sleepy. Vesna comments that Tim left the bin in the bedroom because he was distracted by Kate. Melanie says that relationship will never go anywhere. They want Kate to reciprocate her feelings. Greg says if they are the last two left they could lose themselves in the moment. Vesna says “just like you and I in the moment, Greg”. Greg says Vesna would have to fight Christie. Kate enters the bedroom from her run, and Tim follows. Later Tim is climing into bed. Vesna doesn’t understand how he can sleep with so many clothes on. Greg exclaims Tim is hogging all the sheets in their bed and they have a small fight about it. Tim leans over to talk to Kate and she says “get away”. Tim asks he if she wants a hug, she says yes so Tim leans over and hugs her in bed. There is silence while he hugs her. The hug lasts a good minute or so. Kate says “thankyou” as BB turns the bedroom lights off.

Day 79 Uplate

12:03am: Housemates are in bed but talking. They are talking about an ex housemate, a girl. Kate says she was GI Joe, she could to do 100 push ups. They say she was fit, and 10D breasts (must be Gianna). Kate says the problem was that she knew she was good looking and she paraded it. Kate says Glenn used to pick her up and pretend to do her, but because she was so short, her legs wouldn’t reach the ground. Kate says she was very attractive. Vesna wonders why the guys didn’t latch on if that was the case. Kate says she was too keen. Tim recounts Dave sleeping with her innocently one night and Gianna just latching on from there. Kate says she was smart, but she didn’t finish her degree? She says she worked at a gas company, and she loved animals. Kate says Gianna’s owned a farm animal shelter. Kate laughs as Glenn used to always tell them stories about trying to kill animals! After Mike finishes up, they have moved onto Angela. Kate says she loved gossip and magazines and such. They explain that Angela would organise speed dating nights and make money from that. Vesna wonders why she doesn’t have a relationship. Kate says she was too busy trying to hook up others. Someone says she was probably scared. Kate agrees.

12:24am: Talk has moved onto Geneva or Rachael. They are saying that Geneva was jealous when Rachael entered because she was into girls a bit too, and she thought she was being replaced. Greg says he never heard Geneva talk about her chicks that she had relationships with. Kate says she told Geneva that if she hooked up with a chick in the house it would be really uncomfortable. Greg wonders why Kate would be. Kate says she would be jealous because she saw Geneva as hers, but not ‘in that way.’ Kate tells a story about how she went away for a year, came back, and her best friend had another ‘best friend’ now and Kate instantly hated her. Vesna wonders where Greg was when she came in. Vesna didn’t think anyone got up to say hello. They say Dean just stood there. Tim says Geneva was very mature for her age. Greg agrees. Kate thinks it was because of her upbringing, she lost her mum young and was basically a mum to her sister.

12:36am: Vesna is talking about making punch or something and where they put it. Nothing to do with the BB house. Kate thinks it’s a good idea though! She is talking about a party, it was great in Vesna’s opinion. Vesna says the party was open house, but it was Camberwell, which she describes as a very nice area (it is :) ). Mel likes the Hawthorn area more. Lots of beeps coming from this convo, deleting the suburbs. Vesna tells a story about meeting this guy. Her old boyfriend and Vesna were walking down Chapel Street and a guy walked up to them. The guy wanted to take a photo of Ves with his mobile, and she said fine. They guy asked Ves’s guy, and Ves quickly told him that he wasn’t her boyfriend. He takes the photo and then looks her up and down and he says “I love your bum, can I take a photo of it?” Alright he takes a photo of the bum. He then asks her to say a few words, and she does it. They guy then invites them back to his place. Ves says nah, and then he asks “Do you want to make a movie?” Ves says she didn’t do that stuff, and they basically ran away! Anyway, back to her open house party. Two guys walk in, one she knows….and damn Mike cuts in.

1:03am: Greg is in the toilet. Vesna asks what he is doing, saying “tenderising your meat?” Actually it was Vesna in the toilet. Ves thinks Greg is going to scare her, but I can’t see him anywhere. He finally scares her when he jumps up next to her bed. A bit of a laugh and Greg starts telling a story to Ves about being scared. His mates used to play a game where Greg would go into another room and count to 100 and then come back and the mates try to scare him. He says he was creeping along for 35 minutes trying to find them before realising they were just chilling outside. He says he’s going to give Tim a blowjob and then go to sleep. Vesna says her old boyfriend was on P Plates till March, and she was so embarassed she would take them down. Ves says she went to his 21st party.

1:14am: Mel & Ves talk about some Melbourne streets which Timmy would love, including Brunswick, Smith and Fitzroy streets. Greg reckons Timmy would get into a fight and get bashed up. Vesna says the air con is on in this room. Kate says that when she’s in a relationship in 6 weeks, can they tell her she doesn’t want to be in one. Greg says he is very picky. Ves says she knows what Greg wants. She says she has to be outgoing, attractive, switch on, similar interests. Greg says he doesn’t know what he wants. Greg says he is driven to older people because they have the career side which he wants, but then turns around and says “I’m all about fun.” Greg says he’s been turned off by girls when he introduces her to his mates and she doesn’t pay attention/looks down on them. Mel reckons you can tell a lot about people when girls are a bars. Kate tells Greg he is arrogant. He says that his flatmate has also told him this, but it’s not a huge arrogance, just a tip. The girls agree.

1:31am: Kate wonders if you could do a commerce law course. Mel thinks thats good, but it’s better to just do Law. I think Kate just said that she wants to get a CA or a CPA. Ves says she is just a hairdresser! Kate would love one of her sisters to be a hairdresser. Vesna says she wants to be called a hair stylist, but then says she runs the business. They talk about Gomez, the muppet and how McDonalds gave out them in happy meals at one stage.

1:38am: Greg scares Mel as she comes out of the toilet, but she must’ve had an idea, because it wasn’t good. Housemates settle down to sleep and thats the show.

1.26am – Melanie wants Big Brother to run off the fire on the plasma screens. Kate explains she thinks it will be Xmas in July tomorrow, which gets all the housemates talking about candy canes and other Xmas goodies. They sing carols in bed.

11.45am – Housemates are up and preparing some food for lunch. Vesna wants vegetables in her lunch, if some one is going to make it for her. Greg is making bread. Vesna explains what she is planning to cook – a stir fry reincarnation with slices of meat.

Tim and Kate are called to the diary room. Inside they find a whiteboard and envelope. When BB tells them their instructions Tim leans on Kate’s shoulder. They emerge from the diary room and Kate reads the letter from BB: He wants them to make a movie. There are several famous movie lines that need to be included in the Big Brother movie. Greg is quick to say 100% wager on the budget, and Kate agrees. They quickly start planning out the script by writing the required lines on the whiteboard. Vesna ducks out to check on how her meal is coming. While marinating the meat she gets bitten by something and yells out at the bug. She then tries to attack a fly that landed on the meat. “Bloody insects I hate them!”. Tim, sitting right by chuckles at Vesna’s complaints. The store room is now open and Kate hopes there is christmas stuff inside. Kate talks to herself on the way to the store room, saying she doesn’t like Christmas ham but likes turkey. Inside the store room she doesn’t find any Christmas goods, and returns to the house annoyed. “I’ve been a good girl but santa didn’t come”.

BREAK

5.13pm – Vesna is assistant chef but is doing all the cooking right now while Kate is outside helping the other housemates exercise. Tim is doing weights and is being spotted by Greg. Vesna calls Kate back inside to taste the sauce. Kate says its really good. Tim is now on the punching bag. Melanie says she’s turned into a porker – put on 2 kilos while in the house. Shes going to “do some weights, man”. Back in the house Kate complains to Vesna about how BB didn’t give them any xmas in July goodies. Vesna says Big Brother is mean. Kate is called to the diary room, and she thinks she has a bad microphone battery. In the diary room Big Brother asks her how far away dinner is – 15 minutes. BB asks what they are having. Kate says “marinated beef and a peanut sate sauce”. BB asks her how did she make it – she says she didn’t, the assistant made the sauce. BB asks what role Kate played. Kate jokes she did “diddly shit” and admits she got the assistant to make most of the meal tonight. BB instructs Kate to gather all the housemates in the kitchen, read the shopper/chef duty statement and then inform the housemates all food will be confiscated by Big Brother. Kate can’t beleive it and says she’s going to snap. Finally she tells BB it is Xmas in July today – BB says “Merry Christmas Kate”.

BREAK

5.55pm – Kate calls everyone inside. Kate reads the duty statement for shopper/chef. The food starts to burn and Kate says “the reason why I’m not rushing to fix it is because all the food is being confiscated by BB”. Vesna is annoyed and says she won’t let the food be taken. Kate eventually grabs the sate. Vesna storms off to the bedorom saying “I hate him, I really hate him”. Greg and Kate lay the food down in the diary room. Meanwhile Vesna, in the lounge room says “what is wrong with him? Are his bones riddled with hate?”. As Greg and Kate leave the diary room, Kate explains that cooking is all Vesna has in the house. Kate explains BB will return the pots. Vesna says “whe don’t want the pots! What are we going to put in them!?”. Kate is optimistic, she says they can still have marinated meat for dinner. Vesna says “I hate him”, and sits on the couch dissapointed.

8.33pm – Housemates are in the lounge room. Vesna complains about the mosquitos. BB announces nominated housemates are Kate, Melanie and Vesna. Melanie jokes three girls – go girls! Tim is looking sombre about his nomination decision to save Greg – at the same time he put Kate up for eviction.

BREAK

9.21pm – Housemates all come to the diary room and ask Big Brother if they can sing a Christmas carol in exchange for some Xmas goodies. They sing “we wish you a merry Xmas”. Greg puts red cup on his nose as Rudolf and red wine glasses on his head as antlers. When the housemates Big Brother says he will get back to the housemates shortly. The HMs emerge from the diary room and Kate thanks them all for their efforts. Vesna is called back to the diary room. Inside she finds chocolate biscuits and alochol. They all cheer each other Merry Xmas, especially to Christie who wanted to have Christmas in the house.

10.21pm – Housemates are getting into bed. Melanie comments that today went really quick. Outside in the kitchen Greg is thanking Tim for saving him from nomination tonight. Tim says its no problem. Greg says its unfortunate it worked out the way it did (Tim nominated Kate at the same time). Tim says the whole thing is unplesant. The boys eventually come into the bedroom. Tim starts tucking in Kate’s bed, saying it wasn’t made properly this morning. Melanie says Tim needs to tuck in her side as well. Kate then says its too tight and she will roll into Melanie. Vesna is then tucked in by Tim and complains when Tim puts on another blanket – she is too hot as it is. Tim gets into bed and Melanie tells him to continue with his story. Greg starts lying on Tim. Tim explains when he was young his dad would sing him songs at night to get him to sleep. He starts singing along with Greg, much to the delight of the girls who crack up laughing.

9.31am – Tim and Vesna are up in the rewards room explaining their disgust at all being up for eviction, especially Vesna. Tim says you just don’t want to go – its like gambling you could lose. Meanwhile in the bathroom Kate has Rita’s towel and she asks for it back. Rita says she gets really fussy with towels. Kate says she is really sorry for taking the towel. Melanie emerges from the sauna. Rita says “I just wanted a nice clean towel to dry me on eviction day.. its cool”. After Rita leaves, Kate says to Melanie “out of all the towels can you beleive I took hers”. Melanie says sometimes Rita speaks to people so rudely. Kate repeats what Rita said and then “give me a fucking break you fucking moron”. Back in the reward room Tim and Vesna agree they might stay till the second or third week.

Rita is trying to make pancakes but she has put way too much oil in the pan. Kate tries to figure out how much of each ingredient needs to go into the pancakes. Tim emerges and is greated good morning by the other housemates. He explains what he had for breakfast in the reward room – an omlette. Vesna comes out too and Christie says she had a dream there were 10 000 people at an eviction and they all had Vesna signs except for one Christie sign. Vesna says its a sign she is going, and then wonders whats going on with the pancakes. Kate explains what Rita did. Vesna can’t get over it and wonders why Rita rushed them – because she’s hungry! Melanie starts laughing. Rita returns and they fiddle with the heat for a while, before she goes back into the bedroom and says she’d be glad to go today because of all the backstabbing in the house. She is sick of the “immatur..itradge… I like making up words”.

BREAK

4.06pm – Rita wants Greg to cook her some rolls. Kate says Rita should just ask Greg. Rita says she did ask him indirectly. Kate admits she is really pissed off at Rita doing indirect things. Rita says Kate should be telling her these things at the point, not later like this. Kate says “why talk for the point of talking”. Rita says thats her, and its not an excuse. Kate asks why she hides behind that. Rita says she is making a big deal out of nothing, and she will not change the way she is in the house. Meanwhile Melanie starts eating some food out of a container in the pantry and Rita asks her if she really needs to do that – there are so many bacteria on the tips of your fingers. Melanie is not impressed and sits down in the lounge room. The argument between Kate and Rita continues for a little while.

8.01pm – Its time to go Rita. She cheers and says she’s ready to go because the others were driving her nuts. Vesna gives her a big hug. Rita leaves up the stairs and the housemates cheer support for her. Greg says he could feel Gretel’s lips rolling over his name. In the bedroom Christie says its going to be quiet now. Melanie said it was a bit…. Christie says its a double. Kate is outside with Greg talking about the second to go tonight. Kate says Christie will, but Greg doesn’t think so. In the bedroom Melanie thinks its so a double but Vesna doesn’t really know. Christie is starting to think now that thats it. She says “why am I still here”. Outside Kate and Greg are relatively silent. Greg says whoever goes second in the double will have to do everything with Rita – it would drive him insane. Kate doesn’t want to have to leave the house with Rita.

BREAK

8.18pm – Housemates are in the lounge room having some dinner. Christie says its a lot quieter in the house now. Kate says she can get to know people without Rita “yapping in my ear”. Greg says its a wonder she hasn’t calmed down by the age of 30. Christie is wondering why she is still here. Big Brother calls all housemates to the lounge. The girls screen and jump out of their seats. Gretel soon tells the its a double and its time to go… Christie. Greg looks distraught immediately. Christie gives the girls a hug first, then Tim, and Greg a longer hug. Christie leaves up the stairs. Afterwards the housemates are a little shocked and decide to go outside. Greg explains how eager Christie was to go. Vesna doesn’t understand why Christie is gone now. Kate said Christie had a strong feeling she was going all week so Kate went with it. Vesna is shocked there is only 5 of them left.

10.04pm – Greg has come to the bedroom alone and looks at photos of Christie for a while before lying on her bed. All housemates are called to the lounge to watch farewells.

Rita is first. Kate – there are a lot of things that annoy me about her, but I also haven’t totally pinpointed what they are. You’re going to get far in this game you really want to win I wish you good luck.

Mel – I’ve never met a 19 year old girl who is so wise and has so many plans. That has been an inspiration.

Vesna – you just crack me up. I’ve never met some one with so many personalities. I’ve just seen you be so many people in this house. Even though I do catch you talking about me behind my back I’m sure we’ll be good friends.

Greg – I haven’t really worked you out. I find in here you very much walk away from me no matter how much I try and that prohibits me coming near you if that make sense. I do think you’re a great guy and I can see why Christie likes you so much.

Tim – you really are what holds this house together I really believe without you anybody would have people to talk to, to trust. Things with Kate aren’t meant to be, I wish you a lot of luck.

To all of you be greatful for how far you’ve come, enjoy every minute and my motto “each day comes only once in your life time so why not make it a day to remember for others as well as your self”. The HMs clap and Kate can’t stop laughing at some of Rita’s comments. Vesna says everyone talked behind her back – “was she spying on me?”. Vesna told Rita she was irritating – do I have to tell her every time that happened? Wait until I get out of here.

BREAK

10.25pm – Christie’s message is on now. She waves hi to all the housemates.

Mel – You are so adorable. You’re a stunner you are so beautiful.

Kate – Wow haven’t we been through such an amazing journy. Despite our troubles, in time 11 weeks I’ve gotten to know you and you do share a special part in my body… in my heart. Don’t let anyone take that away. I’m proud of the person you are.

Vesna – What more can you want from Vesna? She’s so caring she’s so laughing she has the funniest laugh. I love you so much and I thank you so much from all of my heart. Without you in here I don’t know if I could survive.

Tim – I think you are such a smart journalist you are such a smart person. As much as I hate you talking about politics I kinda like it because I learn a little bit. Go Logan-Tim

Greg – How can I start with you? As everyone else we’ve had our ups and downs. In here you have been a friend, a best friend. Thankyou so much for everything in here. I really want you to meet my parents. I want to share my special things with you.

Its been an amazing journy with you, keep rocking, I love yas all. The housemates all agree it was a great message. Greg is silent.

12.37am – Tim and Greg come to the diary room. Tim says his relationship with Christie really started to blossom in the last 2 weeks. Greg says she was one of the people she was closet too. Now he will miss out on the spooning and canoodling. Tim said there has never been so few people in the house now and he feels intimate with them.

In the bedroom Vesna and Melanie are going to bed. Vesna says “ha ha Rita forgot her eye patch” (Vesna is wearing it). “Thats for calling me schitzaphrenic”. Vensa asks if Melanie missed her in the rewards room “yes”, “good”. “Now you can start appreciating me more.. you’ll never know when I’ll be gone next”. Melanie laughs.

Days 76 and 77

We start the weekend daily show with a quick recap of Friday Night Live, with Tim winning, and inviting Vesna into the rewards room.

Day 76
9:10pm: Vesna is sitting down and has realised that they get laundry service. Vesna can’t understand it. Tim explains what it means and Vesna simply says she doesn’t need anything washed. Tim reads the instructions about the video messsage, reading that the winner can give it to whomever they want or keep it to themselves. In the bedroom, Mel and Christie talk about how they both miss their families and how it would’ve been good to get the family message. Out in the living room, Kate is talking to Greg about his relationship with Christie. Kate thinks he isn’t doing anything because he’s seen her everyday and knows her through and through. Greg again states that she isn’t his type, saying his mates would be thinking “Dude, what you are doing”, comparing to girls he has had previously. Back in the bedroom, Rita tries to stir up Christie by saying that Kate & Greg are being pretty quiet out there. Christie doesn’t buy into it at first. When Rita asks “What if she’s cutting your meat”, Christie simply replies, “Let her, I don’t care.” When Rita asks how she would feel if she walked out and saw them pashing, Christie says it would be reassuring, and she wouldn’t cry. Back out with Kate and Greg in the living room, Greg says there is a possiblity that something might happen in the outside world, but he says that they are friends now. Rita tells Christie that she thinks Greg reckons that Christie is a top chick. Greg says that she is immature sometimes. Rita has worked Christie up, so much so, she is going to have another talk to Greg if she survives Sunday’s eviction. Kate gives Greg advice to deal with the situation and spell it out to Christie, otherwise she warns that at wrap parties Christie might think they are together or something like that. Greg says it’s probably worth a reminder.

1:10am: Tim is called to the diary room to give BB his decision about the video message. Tim thinks about it, and then says he is going to give it to Kate. He says that he would love to hear from his family, but he wants to give it to Kate because she has wanted it for so long. BB tells Tim to inform Kate of the decision immediately. He comes over to Kate, who is still talking to Greg and Christie, who has joined them on the couch. Tim starts the conversation by saying they are watching a great movie. He tells her that he has given her the video message. Kate says “You haven’t….you haven’t.” She then says “You can’t do this to me!”, and Tim replies, “Well I have.” Tim says that she knows how much he digs her, and how much she has wanted it, so he has given it to her. She cries. Greg wakes up to whats happened, and says that Timmy has done well. Christie watches on. Kate hugs her, and whispers “I can’t believe you did that, Thankyou so much.” He goes back to the reward room. Kate sits there stunned, saying it’s really huge. Christie goes to bed, saying it’s really good for Kate and she should be happy. When she’s gone, Kate says that Christie is really upset that Kate got it. In the bedroom Christie tells Rita whats happened, and says “How sweets that!?” Rita says she doesn’t think phone messages should be exchange. Christie then says that the only reason Tim gave Kate the video message was because he likes her. Rita says that Kate wants everyone in here wrapped around her finger. Christie says she can’t stand Kate at times, calling her a spoilt bitch. Rita says you can’t trust anyone. Back in the living room, Greg says that Tim is in love with Kate. Kate says it’s always a certain type, and it’s so difficult. She says that he is so nice and genuine. Christie comes to the diary room, saying to Greg and Kate that ‘she needs to get it out.’ Kate says ‘she is so cute’ when she goes in there. Christie says that Kate has everyone wrapped around her fingers, and she knows that Kate would take advantage of Tim. She goes onto say that she’s jealous of them talking out there. She says that she feels that Kate is trying to get closer to Greg. Christie says she isn’t normally like this. In the rewards room, Tim and Vesna enjoy a song on the movie, Timmy really getting into it! Christie runs laps after talking to BB, talking to herself saying that “It’s to clear my head.”

Day 77
10:21am: Rewards room is delivered breakfast. It looks like a feast. Tim asks Vesna how she feels. Vesna says she doesn’t think she’s going to be evicted, but you just don’t know. Meanwhile, Christie and Kate are talking in the bathroom. Christie says she really missed her family last night, and admits to being jealous when she got the video message. Kate says she totally understood that. Christie says she’s not angry at Kate at such, but then she started thinking silly stuff like Tim was only doing it because he liked Kate. Kate sits there with a weird look on her face. BB calls Tim to the diary room, and everyone else to the couch. Tim emerges from the reward room, and the energetic Rita gives him a great morning greeting. Vesna comes out saying they haven’t moved from the bed! Tim comes out and reads out the chores. Shopper Chef is Kate, Baker is Greg, Kitchenhand is Christe, Mel is Farmhand, Housekeeper is Tim and Gardener is Rita. Mel says “Bloody farmhand!”

10:59pm: Kate is called to the diary room to receive her video message. She says she’ll watch it by herself first before showing the others. She watches it in the bedroom, and is so happy to see her Mum. Her mum tells her that she is doing so well, and they are so proud of her. It’s quick and short, but Kate is so happy. She shows Rita, Christie, Mel and Vesna on the couch. She runs out to show Timmy and Greg outside. Tim looks so pleased for her, saying her mum is cool to call her babe. Christie says she really wants to go in the bedroom with the girls, saying she is missing her family so much. Kate sits in the kitchen watching her message.

12:10am: Into the bedroom we go. Christie, Mel and Rita are there. Rita is saying that she watches Totally Wild and Bold & The Beautiful or something and how she used to run home from uni to watch them. Christie is talking about how for her profile when BB asked “Why should Australia keep you in”, she said “because I walk around topless.” Rita doesn’t think they do profiles for nominees on eviction night. Christie says that she is too tired to talk, but she has been a fan for 5 years so she knows they do. Rita says Friday is the longest day in the house, but Mel says Saturday is for sure. Christie says she is probably going to go on Sunday. Mel says she will. Rita says ‘everyone has a moment of silence to reflect.’ Mel says she is going to book for the US when she gets out. Rita tells her to do it as soon as she is out. Rita says she’ll probably see her over there. Outside Greg and Kate are talking in the living room. Greg tells her that you can hire the BB house out for parties or something. Kate can’t believe it, but Greg says that it is true. They talk about lockdown, and how they didn’t knock back anyone even though they told all the housemates they were not allowed in. Kate says that she will have a drink with Nelson, she says she will hang with Angela, probably not Gianna, she says she loves Michelle and Michael. She says she won’t probably hang with Rachael. She says she’ll hang out with Geneva and Glenn, as well as Hotdogs cause they are WA people. She says she loves Dean as well. Back in the bedroom, Christie says she is too young and too opposite to Greg to last. She says she wants a guy to challenge her, to ground her. She says it could be nothing because she hasn’t been outside for ages. Christie says she moves on very quickly, she doesn’t get down n the dumps about it. She says she really believes that everything happens for a reason. Christie says she really thinks she’ll go this weekend. Rita says she is being silly. Christie says she should be confident (to Rita). Rita says she took ages to get over the shock last week that she was still in the house. Rita says she doesn’t think it’ll be a double this weekend. Rita continues to give Christie some more relationship advice. Into the reward room we go, Vesna says to Tim ‘you probably shouldn’t have said that.’ They are talking about Tim’s reasons for bringing Vesna into the reward room. Now, Vesna says she was talking about the video message when she said she would rather the video message rather than the reward room, and she apologises for saying that. Tim says he is glad that he knows and he will think about it. Now they go back to the dvd. Into the bedroom, Christie says she is still half in love with someone, and even though she doesn’t want to go back to him, she probably would if he felt the same way. Rita says she felt that way in her 6 year relationship, but he kept cheating on her so she can’t go back.

12:37am: In the reward room, Tim says he is so glad he won. Vesna asks him had he gone first would he have won. He said the course didn’t change. He says he knew he had loads of time to get a goal. Vesna is getting ready to have a bath, so we go back out to Kate & Greg in the living room. Talking about someone who is ‘stunning and smart.’ They are referring to Mel. Kate wonders what the situation is with Christie and Greg, and Greg says she is very upfront and out there, and they discussed the situation in the rewards room last week. Greg says that if they got together it would be more comfort than anything else, stressing that she isn’t really his type.

12:53am: Greg is saying that he’ll have another chat to Christie to make sure they are on the same page in regards to their relationship. He tells Kate that he’s been giving BB some tips on how to treat the females. Greg says that he loved having the seperated rooms, and Kate says she did too. Kate says girls are fine by themselves unti a guy comes into the room. Kate says that Geneva was very confident, yet she always asked for the boys approval on her outfit for Sunday nights. Kate says she didn’t need to ask them seeing she doesn’t even like them. Greg thinks that she liked Dean, but Kate doesn’t agree. Greg says “you just don’t see the signs Kate.”

1:03am: Christie has come and joined the two in the living room. They are wondering if they are very boring for the audience. Christie thinks it’s because BB doesn’t let them sleep. She says it would be great if they told them that they could have an hour nap time. Greg reckons they wouldn’t nap even if BB said we could, it’s like the hot water Greg says. Christie says that she has power naps all the time, and doesn’t sleep until 3am. She goes through her whole day. She says now that 1am is really her average. Kate says she gets tired at 3pm everyday. Greg says he would love to read papers etc in the evenings. Greg says he plays sports most nights, otherwise it’s a meal and reply to work emails and go to bed. He says something is always on. Christie says “I’ve got it good!” Greg says he just can’t get into a routine. Kate says it would be weird for her to walk out of work and it still be sunny. Greg says if you want more responibility and more money, you have to be prepared to work the hours. Tim comes out of the diary room. He sits down next to Kate. He says he is watching a movie who makes him think of her. He explains it, then Mike tells us that he just gave the video message to Kate when he spoke to BB in the diary room.

1:17am: We’ve missed Tim revealing to Kate that he gave her the video message because of a ad break. She has been crying a bit. Tim has returned to the reward room. Now, into the living room. Greg says that Christie will have to get a ‘real’ job soon and do endless hours of work. She goes to bed, and says that Kate getting the message is great. Kate says once she’s gone that she’s a bit peeved that Christie didn’t get it. Kate says she is independent, and she can survive, but when you can get something extra you want to win a message. She says she wants to see her dad. Into the bedroom, Christie is telling Rita about the reward rooms last week and how the Logan’s gave her the choice last week to choose someone else. She says she couldn’t do that to them. She says that just then she found out that Greg told Kate, and she didn’t want anyone to know, and she feels betrayed. Rita says Kate knows how to manipulate and has Greg round her finger. Christie says “Do you reckon?” Rita says yes and says that she doesn’t like it at all. Back to the video message, Christie says that Tim only gave it to her because he wants brownie points. Christie says that Kate is a spoilt bitch sometimes. She says she is angry right now. Rita asks how Kate took the news of the video message. Christie says she just said thankyou. Rita says she would have been more appreciative.

1:31am: Back in the living room with Greg and Kate. Kate is saying that her mum made her kids her word. She says that her mum never said a bad word about her father, she would never do that. Kate says her Dad went off and did his own thing for a while. They bring up the reward room fiasco that just went down in the other room. Kate says she shouldn’t have told anyone. Kate says if it gets back to Vesna, Ves mght not be as close to Christie. Greg says he was guilty for being in there for so many weeks in a row. Greg says it slipped out the other day. Kate says that Vesna did hear it, and took it in but didn’t say it. Kate says that she couldn’t believe the things she said about Dave after he left. Greg says they hated each other. Greg says that Vesna did like Dave and it was sexual tension. Greg says it wasn’t the right way to go about it. He says she is inconsistant. Kate says Timmy picked up the sexual tension early on. Kate says the argument about the online diaries didn’t need to happen either. Greg says it was just stupid.

1:45am: Into the bedroom we go. No we don’t, back to the couch. Silence out there as well. Greg says Vesna would be loved because she always speaks her mind. Kate thinks that he would be angry if she won. Greg agrees to a degree, then admits it. Greg says he is sick of the twin thing and the advantages and disadvantages. Kate twirls her hair. She realises that there is a spare bed. Greg says he’s going to relax tomorrow. Greg reckons Tim will give him farmhand. Kate says imagine if she got it. Greg says that he won’t give her anything. Kate laughs. Greg says that Tim is in love with her. Kate says they’ve talked about it. Kate says it’s not the first time she’s been in that situation, and she says it sucks and it’s hard to not give them any feelings back. Christie is getting up again to talk to Greg and Kate, so of course, we cut to a break!

1:55am: Christie has entered the diary room to vent. Kate says that Christie reminds her of Kelly Clarkson. Greg can’t believe it, saying “god girls come up with some stupid shit.” Kate says she looks like her and reminds her of Kelly. Greg asks how many others have said this, and she says many. Greg says he might be blind. Greg says Timmy and George Foreman. Kate laughs but doesn’t agree. Greg says that Glenn stole his line about it. They talk about photocopying their butts early on, and all they got were ice creams. Greg reminds her that they show their bums all the time. Kate says she can’t wait to shower naked, and sleep naked. Kate says that every guy she dates they’ll already know her body. Greg tells her to get over it. Kate says she is an open person but not in that regard. Greg wonders if ‘before’ they wore boardies in the shower. Kate moves onto Uplate, saying she never knew it existed. She says she has never heard of this “Michael Goodrem” (Funniest part of the show). Kate says they asked her if she would take about sexual topics in the house. Kate says she is going to do a big fart on someone before she leaves. Greg says she’ll hit the roof when she finally does. Greg says they’ve farted a lot. They say Rita does them a lot. Kate goes on about her, and how she burps without saying “Excuse me.” Greg says it doesn’t bother him. Greg says he wants Dave in here. Kate says they should put him in lockdown and give him a laptop. Greg says he wouldn’t know what to do! Kate means watching 24/7 the feeds. They really do think that he’s in lockdown though. Greg says he’ll see that he was out in FNL first round tonight. Kate says he was dissapointed. He says a little, but he didn’t really care. He says he wasn’t excited about it tonight. Kate says she wasn’t either, but she got excited when the video phone thing came up. They talk about the people that the boys took in over the weeks they won FNL. Kate says she has been in there twice. She says that she is glad Timmy won and took Vesna. Kate says had she won she wouldn’t know who to take between Mel and Ves. Kate says the task tonight was just to keep people awake. Kate says she can’t believe Christie is still in the diary room. Greg says she will be there for hours. Kate goes to the toilet. Christie comes out without saying much to anyone, but now comes back to the living room. Kate is back too. Christie walks outside now, saying ‘she needs to clear her head.’ She heads outisde, but back in there, we have vision on Greg, but audio in the reward room. BB comes on and says “This is BB”, and then stops….Greg gets up from the couch and thats it for the night.
