Chief tells The Australian they'll look at it

The Australian have run a story indicating that the Nine Network are interested in looking at the Big Brother franchise when it becomes available after Monday’s finale show.

The Australian spoke to Nine’s Chief Executive David Gyngell, who told them “I still think it has some life in it in another form. Channel Nine will be looking at it.”

Gyngell went on to say that the show still has popularity within the 16-24 year old market, and as such is a viable option for any network.

Gyngell also commented that dumping the show was in Ten’s best interests as the show is “not sustainable” in its current format.
