Brig: “He was blackmailing me”

'Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!’

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the dirty laundry may have finally stopped with Brigitte’s eviction last night, but while doing her media rounds today the 21-year-old has finally opened up as to why she was so fearful of ‘hooking up’ in the house.

Last night Eric appeared on the eviction show to defend himself and address everything that had come out in recent days (the “internet blog rubbish” as Kyle put it). Amongst Eric’s carefully-rehearsed answers, Kyle asked him about the rumours of a sex tape - or at least we think he did, given that he was bleeped out for several seconds:

Kyle: “I heard other rumours. Other———-”
Eric: (shakes head) ”———one hundred percent false.”
Kyle: “Okay, so there’s no tape…”
Jackie: “Where - who is your source?!”
Kyle: “I’ve got sources everywhere!”

Today, Brigitte is telling a different story. This was her response to a question posed by our buddy Garth at the Telly:

Have you spoken to Eric?

No I haven’t and I don’t plan on speaking to me (sic). I don’t know if you heard the whole story. I was never going out with him. We’d been hooking up for 2 years. He made out like he just said Hi to me on the street, but I practically lived at his house for 2 years and he’s even paid for holidays for me to go on with him.

He said if I was to embarrass him by hooking up with any guys he’d post a sex tape on the Internet he made without me knowing about it. I didn’t know if he was making it up. So he was blackmailing me with that and telling the boys I didn’t like them and to go away.

And the blog he wrote. I laughed. It was the most pathetic thing. So year 8. I read it and laughed.
