BB scores big with Pammy

Top numbers for Wednesday’s special

It was the celebrity appearance we predicted would make us all cringe, but sending Pamela Anderson into the house has proven to be a winning move by BB.

The two-hour special, which also saw fan favourite Brigitte evicted, rated 1.417 million, giving it a solid victory in its timeslot and third place for the night overall. This is the highest rating for a BB show this year since Launch Night, which scored 1.51 million back in April.

Ratings have been slowly falling throughout the season, with last Sunday’s eviction failing to reach the 1m mark.

The Pammy action continues tonight with a one-hour Daily Show, titled “Pamela Anderson’s Tricks of the Trade”, and tomorrow night on FNL.
