Extra ten minutes

Never ending schedule changes continue

TV Tonight is reporting that Big Brother’s Sunday evictions have been given an extra ten minutes of breathing space as of this week.

The show now runs for 70 minutes from 7:30pm (daily show begins at 6:30pm), concluding at 8:40pm. This bumps back all remaining shows for the night, including Rove, Supernatural, and Flight of the Conchords.

Although six housemates are nominated this week, the plans as of today are for a single eviction on Sunday. This could very well change as the week progresses.

Big Brother is well known for running over its scheduled time slot, so the extra ten minutes could simply be to avoid any scheduling problems and last minute changes if it runs over the usual 60 minute slot.
