Rima set to sue producers?

RUMOUR: BB facing claim for FNL injury

After breaking her leg during the first FNL back in week one, it was expected Big Brother would leave the door open for Rima to return at a later date.

Rima broke her leg in the first FNL challenge of the year, where housemates had to stand on a platform as long as possible as one end was raised into the ground, and initially the indication from both Big Brother and in her own video message to housemates was that Rima would return to the house following a period of recovery.

However, Jackie O has suggested in an interview with SAFM that if Rima comes face to face with Big Brother again, it may be in a court room rather than the Diary Room.

“We think she’s going to sue us instead, Last time we spoke to her, she was itching to come back on the show but the family has got into her.”

Forumers are divided over whether Big Brother, or Rima herself, should be held responsible for her injuries:

Bkeela: Serves Big Brother right if Rima is suing. Putting such a fragile person in FNL was atrocious duty of care. I’ve watched the show in the past and been shocked at some of the falls and injuries housemates have sustained. If it wasn’t sliding down the ramp that broke her leg, hoping through that violent obstacle course would have shattered every bone in her body.

dan: It’s not BB’s fault. It’s Rimas. She should know what her body is capable of handling. If FNL was a problem she shouldn’t have participates, square and simple.
