Rory didn’t audition

Live stream watchers have caught Rory speaking about this year’s audition process, stating that he did not audition but was called by producers based on a previous audition.

At around 2:31pm today, several of the housemate started speaking to Terri about The Secret: a controversial cult series of books and DVDs related to The Law of Attraction.

Bianca and Rory admitted that they believe The Secret has changed their lives for the better - with Rory stating that he has a board in his room with a list of all the things he hopes to achieve in his life, with Big Brother at the top.

Rory then went on to say that even though he didn’t audition for this year, he received a call from Big Brother after following the philosophy of The Secret by visualising being on Big Brother.

Terri quickly reminded Rory that he shouldn’t be talking about auditions, and the conversation ended.

This is not uncommon practice with reality TV shows and even Big Brother Australia - Reggie auditioned for the 2002 series but became a housemate in the 2003 series. However, with hundreds of audition videos sent in this year and fans given the opportunity to vote, some have been left wondering why they bothered if housemates were simply picked from old auditionees.
