Daily show dips below the million mark

Ratings for the daily shows have fallen to below the million mark by the end of the first week – with a third of the shows launch night audience turning off throughout the week.

Week 1
Monday – Launch Night: 1,511,000
Tuesday – Daily Show: 1,315,000
Wednesday – Daily Show: 1,198,000
Thursday – Daily Show: 986,000
Friday – Daily Show: 883,000 / FNL: 1,032,000
Sunday – Daily Show: 929,000 / The Gatecrashers: 1,160,000

For comparison, last year’s first week ratings:
Sun Launch: 1,549,000; Mon: 1,324,000; Tue: 1,058,000; Wed: 1,184,000; Thu: 1,092,000; Fri: 916,00; FNL: 1,062,000; Sun 6.30pm: 1,166,000; Sun 7.30pm: 1,402,000
