Rima’s outta there

(video added) Broken leg causes her to leave the show

Rima, the 100-cm tall 25-year-old housemate from Victoria, has broken her leg and will not be returning to the Big Brother house… for the mean time.

The incident occurred during one of last night’s Friday Night Live tasks, where housemates were required to stand on a tilting platform for as long as possible. Rima apparently fell at an angle and landed unfortunately on the padded surface.

Rima was attended to by the Big Brother medical staff but taken to hospital soon after where X-rays confirmed that her leg is broken.

She is expected to take several weeks to recover – recovery that will not take place in the Big Brother house. The statement issued by Ten did however state “we look forward to her decision on whether she will return to the House,” hinting she could be back at a later date.
