Kyle Sandilands: Award loser

Triple success at the Fugly Awards

As the great and good of Australian TV prepare for this year’s Logie Awards, the results of the slightly lest prestigious Fugly awards have been revealed - with Kyle Sandilands the big winner (or is that loser) of the night.

Kyle Sandilands scooped the award for “Worst Male TV Personality” for the second year in a row, along with “The Eddie” for “Most Over Exposed TV Personality“, beating the likes of Corey Worthington, the much unwanted soon-to-be BB housemate.

Kyle also picked up the award (well, not literally - must have been ill tonight or something) for “TV Network Frenemies” for his feud with Rove McManus.

In fact, Kyle’s dominance of the awards led to organiser Anthony Dever contemplating a special award in Kyle’s name for next year.

“Kyle is almost the new Eddie McGuire when it come to The Fuglies. We might have to name a category after him next year like we did with Eddie to exclude Kyle from taking over and ruining these celebrated awards.”

Jackie O could not match her BB’s partners’ success though, narrowly beaten to the award for “Worst female TV personality” by Today Tonight’s Anna Coren.

Thanks to TV Tonight and the TV Fugly Awards.
