The Big Brother launch only attracted an average of 1.511 Million viewers throughout the two hour screening last night. The audience peaked at 1.9 Million viewers.
While it won the time slot in the first half hour, Network Seven’s Border Security easily beat it in their time slot, and ABC’s Australian Story dragged viewers from the broadcast towards the end. In a cruel twist of fate, Australian Story this week focused on the suicide death of Ten newsreader Charmaine Dragun.
Our sources tell us that the producers are quite happy with the result, saying anything above 1.3 Million viewers was a great performance.
