Updates from launch night…

11:40 In yet another house idea ‘borrowed’ from BBUK the diary room door changes colour.

11:37 Kyle was aparently abusing the audience, calling them fat pigs and telling them to shut up. Seems he’s slipped into Gretel’s shoes a little too easily.

11:30 No shop. No rewards room.

11:29 the lockers are 2-way and BB can pinch stuff from the HMs.

11:27 Kitchen, bathroom and laundry are outside.

11:20 HMs were driven to the house in a black convertable.

11:14There was a bookie at the launch announcing the betting odds. Not sure if this will be shown on TV.

11:02 Of the two sets of seats on the stage one was populated by HM’s family and the other was populated by the producer’s famalies.

10:43 The two pools are built into one another. One is heated and tiled in red, the other is not heated and it is tiled in blue.

10:36 This is Big Brother. Housemates, welcome. It will not have excapted your attention that the house is out of bounds. Inside the house, there are things that you can not possibly plan for. There are surprises; good and bad. The first surprise of your Big Brother experience will be bad. Every year the housemates spend time contemplating who will be first to go. This year Big Brother has decided to resolve this issue earlier than usual. Housemates, you must decide whose Big Brother experience wil be over before it has begun. There will be an early eviction. One of you must go. You will decide amongt yourself who must go. Take this decision very seriously. The House will remain closed until you deliver Big Brother his first evicteee. Housemates this is the first of several snap evictions. It will not be the last. Good luck and goodnight.

10:18 David and Rebecca enter the house.

10:07 David is revealed as HM 14. He was part of the Exclusive Brethren at two seperate stages in his life. He is 32 and the rest of his family are still part of the cult so they have no idea he that he will be on TV.

10:05 HM 13 is Rebecca, a barmaid who is a clean freak and also likes monkies. Her nickname is “Sporty Spice” and Kyle referred to her as the “Skimpy Barmaid”.

10:02 2 more housemates confirmed.

9:56 Renee and Dixie may know each other from the past.

9:54 12th housemate is Dixie. She is the first Aboriginal woman in the BB house. She’s a mental health worker who loves tomato sauce. She’s never had a boyfriend.

9:46 Hm no 11 is Ben. He is very smart, easily annoyed, he only goes for women with ‘depth’ but isn’t very sucessful with them. Was a dux and a school captain in highschool. He’s a law student.

9:40 Every week each HM fills out a “KFC Twister Diary”. Sounds like another idea ressurected from the days of Abbot.

9:35 Mike, Bree and Fitzy show off the new FNL arena.

9:29 This is Big Brother. Rory, Bridgette, move away from the doors.

9:17 Rima is revealed as housemate 10. See her teaser package here. She is 1m tall and is married to a man named Carl/Karl. She’s a belly dancer who may show off her skills in the house.

9:15 Renee enters the house.

9:05 9th housemate is an abattoir worker and a self-confessed ‘tomboy’. Her name is Renee. Her nickname is “rocket” and she hates bitchy girls.

9:04 Rory enters the house.

8:57 8th housemate is Rory, an apprentice bricklayer who wants to tour Australia “pub by pub”. The audience think “he’s hot”. He once took part in a “Man Hunt” competition and doesn’t mind showing off his body.

8:50 Travis and Alice get their at-the-door interview.

8:38 7th HM is revealed as Travis. He’s a marketing exec who’s after a girl of any age. He is also scared of the dark.

8:33 Alice the vet is HM no 6. She’s a country girl who hates spiders.

8:30 There are “no rules” this year. There is no shop this year. Camping in the yard confirmed.

8:21 Fifth HM Bridgette, she’s like a blonde like chicky like. She’s a Paris Hilton fan who was very nervous on stage.

8:12 Fourth HM is Nobbi. He likes playing poker. Chineese guy whose nickname is “Karate Kid”

8:09 Housemates are definitely locked in the back yard for now. Jackie-O announces that a huge surprise will be announced soon.
8:00 Bianca is revealed as the third housemate. She is an 18-Year-Old Uni Student from Qld. She is aparently bitchy, blonde, ditzy and has a ‘big rack’. Kyle thinks she’s a bitch.

7:56 Jackie-O shows off the house. Switchable glass in the lounge. BB will show them temptations behind the window. The conveyor belt in the dining room will dump food on the floor if HMs don’t catch it.

7:50 Jackie-O interviews Saxon (again) as he enters the house. Seems to be an audience and red carpet at the house entrance a la BB01 & BB02.

7:44 Launch night eviction confirmed.

7:43 Cut to Terri walking into the house.

7:39 Second housemate in is Saxon. Seems to be a crowd favourite. Kyle asks him about his UFO beliefs and whether or not he’s been ‘probed’.

7:32 First housemate in is Terri.

7:31 Each Housemate has to place a cherished item into the “Memento Cabinet” before they enter the house.

7:29 Suggestion that maybe HMs won’t be allowed inside tonight and they’ll be “roughing it”.

7:28 House exterior revealed. It has a “holiday theme”. The yard has an “Outback Australia” theme. Swing confirmed. Small pool and hot tub confirmed.

7:24 Recording has started. Kyle promises more diverse housemates. Says HMs will be forced to make a tough decision tonight.

7:14 It was actually Dave Eastgate claims “I’m Kyle” and gets a bad reaction then says “I’m Gretel Killeen” and the crowd go mad

7:07 Dave Eastgate tries to be funny and entertaining by rapping for the crowd.

7:04 The midget is called Rima. Her video package has been released on 3 Mobile.

7:02 Recording stock video of audience screaming.

6:54 Recording promos. Asking the audience to chant “I Don’t Think So!”

6:52 Mike Goldman has just taken the stage.

6:46 Dave Eastgate has started warming up the crowd. The seating you see in the pic is on BOTH the left and right hand sides of the stage.
