Meet Nanna Terri

Deciding to give in to the old adage “if you can’t beat them, join them”, BB has decided this year to leak out some of its own Housemates prior to Launch night. Tonight we met Terri, a grandmother from NSW.

In a couple of promos that aired throughout the night on Ten, Terri told us that she’s “outspoken, opinionated, and loud, apparently.” A sample of those opinions are given straight away: “I admire Pauline Hanson very much. She does remind me a bit of myself. A lot of people that we’ve let come here have brought all their problems with them and now we’re paying the price.”

Anything else? “I believe that religion is the root of all evil”. Ah, okay then. At 52 years of age, Terri will be Aussie Big Brother’s oldest ever HM. Psych ward escapee Lil Sis mentioned tonight that this year we’ll also be seeing the show’s youngest ever Housemate!

Terri, along with all of our other Launch night Housemates, is now under lockdown in a Gold Coast hotel. This means that they are essentially cut off from the outside world, much as they will be in the BB House.

As we heard from DramaQueen the other day, there will be another three Housemates revealed (officially at least) throughout the week, conveniently placed amongst Ten’s prime-time programming. The next will be on Tuesday night’s Bondi Rescue. About 5 seconds later, discussion of said HM will commence on our forums.
