Last movie you saw

Last film I saw was The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon - my choice, and I'm not sure why, since it's the sort of film I never like. Couldn't understand the plot, and didn't care enough to even try to. Plus I think the role of Matt Damon was played by his character in Team America: World Police...

Last GOOD film I saw was The Queen - highly recommended.

Just finished watching The Killing Fields at school. Good movie based on a true story. Shows you just how stupid the Americans are.

I saw Ghost Rider last weekend. It kept me entertained throughout. Just a fun sort of movie.. not too much thinking required. The girl from the Wedge briefly appeared in it, which was off-putting for a moment.
I am looking forward to seeing Music and Lyrics next!

I saw Ghost Rider tonight and i thought it was ****in awesome. I loved it and plan on seeing it again soon.

I have seen Rocky Balboa :D

Rocky I is still the best by far and away from all the Rocky series IMO.
But this one aint bad at all, probably comes 2nd. 7/10 for mine

Lots of sad recaps of Adrianne his wife who passed away. A few cliches about life. Rocky nowadays runs Adriannes a restaurant he dedicated to his late wife. He is there most nights telling tales of his past. Spider Richo, the guy Rocky knocked out in the opening sequence in Rocky I makes a surprising and different sort of cameo appearance :D. Spider and only Paulie (Burt young) are still around from the 1st Rocky which was shot in 1976.

A little dissapointed with his training routine, lots of glorified weightlifting . But overall a good no brainer type of movie to go out and see. Wont spoil the ending for any of you planning to see it, but worth a look. Stallone looks mighty fine, was 59 1/2 years of age when he shot the movie. Though recently aussie customs caught him with steroids  naughty boy.

tbh sly still has the eye of the tiger imo :D

ps there is going to be a Rambo 4

oh how could i forget

you know the girl who screams out to rocky "screw you creepo" in rocky 1?

well she is all grown up and is very prominant in this movie

I think Sly needs to do a second version of "The Italian Stallion" aka "Party at Kitty and Stud's"- don't get to see too many 60 year olds doing porno these days...

Err, not that I'm saying that I'VE seen it ("Party at Kitty and Studs"- Sly's screen debut), just that it would be about as believable as a 60 year old boxer retaining his credibility...oh, nevermind...

PS- well, yes I got curious, and googled the topic to find out that the world's
oldest active heterosexual male porn star was 65 in 2005- if the guy (a certain "Dave Cummings"*-nyuk nyuk, star of such "greats" as "Ol' Dirty Bastards and the Girls who Love 'Em" and "Slammin' Granny In the Fanny") is STILL going, he'll be 67 this year so...

*those who would like to find out more about Mr Cummings (apparently a "dead ringer" for the late Enron Exec, Ken Lay) should look here-

Well i went and saw Music and Lyrics tonight. It was really good. I enjoyed it, but then I generally like anything Drew Barrymore does and i do like Hugh Grant too.

THen afterwards Boytown was on. It wasn't too bad. There were some great LOL moments, the ending was disappointing but the rest of the film was pretty good.

Flunkyrat, you have inspired me to do a google search

and technically Mr Yoshiaki Yasuda At 88, is no longer a current porn star, though he possibly was the oldest ever? He did begin his "Acting" career in the business at age 70.

Yasuda was born and bred in central Tokyo. He was a cabinet maker until he went broke at age 50. He started filming himself having sex at 53, collecting over 8,000 tapes. He made his debut in adult movies at age 70 after joining the academic group and was invited to take part in a filming session by a famous stick flick auteur. He has since gone on to perform in over 100 porn movies, including 50 where he is not only the star, but the title character

The timing of it all, Saw Love Actually last night for the first time :D

I finally saw Music and Lyrics last weekend. I really enjoyed it. Ghost Rider was better, but this was a really nice feel good movie. Lots of one-liners delivered expertly by Hugh, and the opening video clip was hilarious! I made my husband watch it too, and he said he didn't dislike it. We both had the songs stuck in our heads the next day.

LOL me too Laura, i can't stop singing Pop! Goes My Heart. It keeps popping into my head. And then Way Back Into Love gets stuck there too. SO i know what you're going through. :)

Norbit - F
Ghost Rider - D
Smokin Aces - D
Music & Lyrics - C+

Seriously Hollywood! All the best movies this year have been independent and arthouse films.

I recommend Letters from Iwo Jima. Excellent!

Apocalypto - 4 out of 5. It gets an extra half mark for loin cloth indian running through big swamp.

Babel - 4 out of 5. Nice, deep movie, funny in places, sad in others. Particularly liked the Tokyo storyline.

If you like movies,
He's a good US forum I belong to:

www.cinemablend.com :D

Went and saw Wild Hogs last night and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to be watchable but it was LOL funny in many parts. The four leads were fantastic although I would watch John Travolta in anything ;)
But it was good, definately worth seeing.
I stayed and watched Night at the Museum for the fourth time too so yoou would assume I like it, which is correct :)

I saw WILD HOGS yesterday too.. It was better then I expected and William H Macy is hilarious in it! and also John Travolta's over acting is fun to watch :p

Alot of people hated it because it seems like everyone is a movie critic these days! lighten up, it was a fun light movie not something that should be given any awards lol

Oh plus Marissa Tomei was in it and I like her :p
