Back to the issue at thread... My take is that Lawson is blaming Cat for seducing him and causing all the flack. He's angry and it's making her sad and them awkies.

George comes from a cartoon I saw as a kid which I have never been able to find since. The cartoon was a small boy being mean to his puppy then he dreams he is a dog and a little girl gets hold of him but the closest I can find to it is these...
