Last movie you saw

molloch!

Obsessive :)
Well since i work at a drive in i get to see a few movies. Nothing like opening up the back of the panel van and watching under the stars :)

Anyhoo the last movie I saw was Eragon and Night at the Museum.

I've seen Night at the Museum twice before and it was just as good third time round. I don't know what it is but that movie appealed to me. I saw most of the kids movies over the holidays (having a 7 year old) and that had to be my favourite.
Eragon was pretty good too and i'd heard some pretty bad reviews for it. But it was rather good. I love fantasy movies so it was right up my alley.

In the next week i'm going to go see Music and Lyrics, and then Ghost Rider, which i'm hanging out for.

the last movie i saw was beerfest. it was shit, few cheap laughs.

last movie i saw was the latest bond one a couple of weeks back, Casino Royale. Typical bond movie, nothing overally jaw dropping. Have never really been too into the Bond movies, and this one didn't help me one bit in changing my mind.

I really want to see "The Good Sheperd", so that'll probably be my next one.

Great thread Molloch :)

Happy feet is the last cinema movie I have seen, brilliant animation, great music (Princes' Kiss gets a good gig). I give it 8/10

Though I must add. Everyone should see (available on DVD now) March of the Penguins narrated by Morgan Freeman, one of the best, if not best documentaries Ive ever seen. Had me in tears in parts. Just an awesome movie. Humans could learn a thing or two from watching it.

Thanks Jake :) Always glad to see you! :D

Hmm yeah Happy Feet was good, but it just didn't grab me. My daughter loved it. But she's 7 so has no taste ;)
Joking, she does, but cute, furry and feathery wins every time.
Arthur and the Invisibles was quite good actually. I enjoyed that.

I recently saw The Fountain and thought it was a steaming pile of pretentious, new age fecal matter.

I expected a lot more from Darren Aronofsky, the maker of the gripping Requiem for a Dream, but The Fountain was pure crap.

It is films like The Fountain that put me off going to the cinema. I would like to see Babel, Children of Men, and Apocalypto, but I just don't have the nerve.

Lots of faves in my DVD collection but tonight saw Magnum Force "make my night". Just love the humour of Harry and the way he delivers his lines. The biggest laugh is that the producers want us to believe that its a serious piece of social commentary on the breakdown of the yankee legal system. Might be true, but can't help thinking that this Magnum killing fest is the reason for it all.

Nice "brain dead" stuff to veg out on. Made my night!

I just watched the Aristocrates, a documentary about a joke.

It features many well known comedians and alot of them tell their version of the joke as well as the history of the joke. Bit rude, very crude and very funny....i left feeling like i understood the joke however i did not get it at the same time.

Hehehehe MeMeME, I've just RENTED "The Aristocrats"- I'll probably watch it tonight (it's on 7-day rental)- I'm looking forward to Sarah Silverman's version of "the Joke"...

Last movie I saw was Déjà Vu - it was OK.

Next movie I am planning to see is Music and Lyrics - can't wait!

Oh me to! Looks great. Drew Barrymore :D sexual.

We just got Little Miss Sunshine in on DVD today, so i'll hire that out tomorrow night after I finish work.

Last movie I saw was the "sequel" to Open Water, Adrift. It was tragically bad.

Last movie I saw and loved was Jesus Camp, a feature documentary about hardcore fundamentalist Christians and the way they're raising their children as "Soldiers For Christ". Scary, scary stuff. Highly recommended. Seriously, watch the trailer. (It's under "Videos".) If it doesn't give you goosebumps, nothing will.

Adrift was shocking!! how can they base a whole movie about not putting the ladder down! and the stupid ways they tried to get back on the yacht!

Actually, I thought the concept was solid (apparently, it's happened many times before - makes you wonder why yachts aren't designed with water-level controls), but it was the execution that was ridiculous. There were heaps of ways they could have got back up there, and to not think of any of them until most of them were dead was stupid as hell. Plus, the character development and the dialogue were shit.
