Is anyone finding this episode somewhat more enjoyable than normal since it's just all about the game/strategy and not the usual "lets have a foot in both formats" shit and failing to do justice to either format it's trying to emulate?

Nah. It still seems like every other show to me.

Well, blame it on the format of the 7 series. If they let us know the people better and didn't fill it with so much strategy related stuff maybe people might actually come to appreciate others a bit more.

Yeah this format and editing make the newbies look either vacuous or total manipulators with not much personality.
